😊: Audrey, the hostess, was there to meet us. She was very welcoming and gave lots of useful information on local attractions. The cottage was comfortable, well equipped and in a lovely rural setting. Parking was easy.. 😢: The toilet is downstairs, which is a nuisance at night. That said, the stairs are well lit and easy to negotiate. The sloping roof in the main bedroom is a challenge..

😊: Perfect location for WW1 sights along the Western Front from the Somme to as far as the Belgian coast. It was so peaceful and quiet and Audrey was very welcoming and helpful suggesting places to go.. 😢: Would recommend a tin opener as we forgot ours. 😊.
