COTTAGE DE L'ANCRE

An excellent cottage in an...<br>#128578; We were met by Ann the host, who was very friendly and showed us around the cottage. She answered all our questions in excellent english. The cottage is self catering and the kitchen had everything we could have needed. There was plenty of cleaning supplies / loo rolls etc. for our 3 night stay. It also had a private courtyard which would be wonderful in good weather. Literally a 30 sec walk to the nearest brasserie and only 1 minute to the centre, but still no night time noise. Many ...<br>#128577; The upper floor is accessed via an easy staircase but the top 4 feet or so has no handrail. Other than this I can't fault it.

Perfect for touring the Somme.<br>#128578; Anne was a fantastic host! She met us on arrival to show us around the Gite and it's facilities. The property has everything you needed and more. We toured the Somme so was only in the property for short periods in the morning and evening but we couldn't have asked for a better place to stay.<br>#128577; N/A

Great stay<br>#128578; Location

A wonderful gite, clean with modern fixtures and fittings. Beds comfortable and the house was warm. Everything we needed was there. Parking was inside the gate, secure and safe. Anne was very welcoming, it was a pleasure to meet her. We explored the WW1 battlefields and Albert was the perfect place to stay. Thank you.

Four gents stayed at the property so we could explore the Great War battlefields. The property was beautiful and perfectly located.

Very comfortable., excellent facilities, good WiFi, great bedding and bathrooms. All kitchen requirements plus a laundry. We found the cottage very relaxing. The owner was very helpful. Enjoyed the outside garden each evening for a red wine.
