We liked the place a lot, we were nit expecting something so rustic. We lived the host and met some very nice people who were also staying at the estate.

Brigitte was the sweetest host who welcomed us with a smile and a warm hug. I couldn't have imagined a more dreamy place to stay for a few days. The cottage was clean, well-appointed, and quiet. This was an excellent property. I can't wait to return. 10/10!!!

A great en beautiful authentic experience. It felt very safe in these crazy times. Beautiful surroundings and very quiet. A special treat is breackfast in the grand dining room. You can feel the history. Brigitte was very helpful and kind. We woud like to stay again.

Gite confortable, dans un cadre exceptionnel. Le château et son parc sont magnifiques, la baignade au lac est très agréable. La propriétaire est très accueillante. Nous reviendrons, cest certain.

Absolument parfait. Un enchantement. Le cottage est bien plus grand et agréable qu’il n’y parait sur les photos, le château est magnifique, le parc qui l’entoure est un havre de paix, de fleurs, d’arbres, de couleurs et de senteurs. Et le lac qui lui fait face permet baignades et rêveries à tout moment. Et la douceur de la convivialité de notre hôte n’est qu’un bonus à tout cela. Nous espérons revenir dès que possible.

Thoroughly enjoyed our week here. Gite is better than website photos. Well set up with everything, and anything you want - just ask. We were given a Weber BBQ to use in the rear garden. Bed and sofa bed very comfortable, lovely linens, very quiet at night (except for the occasional duck in the moat). Shutters and double glazing make it warm or cool, whichever needed. Brigitte was on holiday when we arrived and her friend Marie Clothilde was exceptionally helpful. Brigitte also very friendly and accommodating. The small lake nearby is clean, easy to access, and warm in midsummer - a welcome relief at the end of a long day out. Small shop at the end of the drive has quite a good selection, and Chalons is 10 mins away. It's not a hotel, so bring your own shampoo/conditioner. Kitchen quite tiny and no dish drainer, but otherwise pretty well equipped. Small washing machine very handy. Wifi good. Absolutely loved this place - thoroughly recommended.

Beautiful chateau with gardens, lake and park to enjoy. Bridgitte was very aimiable and generous . We stayed in the self contained gite which has an open fireplace, beautiful linen and a bath tub. The kitchen is quite tiny but everything else outweighs that minor frustration. We loved having breakfast in our little scented garden. Well located to explore Champagne
