Cottage in Touraine

The property is on the edge of the town, less than 2 minutes from a supermarket and 5 minutes from the town centre. The property is excellent for two people who need to be mobile as it is up a flight of stairs. All the amenities you need are there and the property is bright and airy. The only down side is that your outside space is down the steps and half way down the garden, also there is two gites but i only saw the one outside eating area. The local town is lovely, lots of art shops, restaurants and bars. busy during the day but much quieter in the evening. We very much enjoyed out stay and you are only 3 minutes from the motorway fir getting about the area. Excellent value and great location.

We had a lovely week at La Neonnerie. A beautiful little house equipped with everything you need. Picturesque setting with many pretty towns and villages in the surrounding area. Good cycling with many country roads.

Logement de très grande qualité (rien ne manque), propreté irréprochable, hôte très accueillante et attachante. Nous sommes ravis de notre séjour, nous reviendrons certainement.

The whole environment was lovely but the host made it even more, the owner oozes kindness. We had a lovely receiving drink and again a few nights later. She offered us coffee and a chat on the morning we were leaving. Gave us lots of info about the area.

Gîte très agréable pour visiter les châteaux avec une zone de pêche à proximité. Hôtesse accueillante et chaleureuse.

We had a wonderful week in Yvonne’s delightful gîte. Yvonne is a lovely hostess, I just wish my French language skills were better. The accommodation suited us very well.

This beautiful gite exceeded our expectations. Mme Dubois was a charming host and the gite had all we needed. It was great to be away from the tourist hotspots whilst near enough to access so many lovely chateaux , parks and towns. The secluded garden is a delight. Isle Bouchard was close for supplies and there are many wine producers in the area. Azay le Rideau and Chinon were two of our favourite places. Don't miss a visit to the park at Richelieu .
