Cottage, quiet - On the heights of Anduze - 4 people

Nous avons passez d excellentes vacances. Tout était parfait , le gîte, les propriétaires d'une gentillesse👍👌, L'endroit d un calme reposant... Je recommande...

La location, située dans une maison de charme, est très agréable. Vu les fortes chaleurs, la forte épaisseur des murs et la possibilité de ventiler (ouvertures traversantes) a permis de conserver une température acceptable pour dormir. Les hôtes sont agréables, discrets et disponibles. Je conseille vivement.

Once again we had a fabulous vacation in the Cévennes. This year we visited Maryse and her husband on their Cévennes farm in Anduze. The Gîte was well utilised, very nice and clean and had all we needed. Outside there was the most amazing view over the Cévennes, especially from the pool area where you can see a lot of the beautiful nature and there was this great smell of lavender. Maryse and her husband was very friendly and even though we don't speak French and only understand a little French we managed to understand each other, with a little help from Google translate. Nous avons encore une fois passé des vacances fabuleuses dans les Cévennes. Cette année nous avons rendu visite à Maryse et son mari dans leur ferme cévenole à Anduze. Le gîte était bien utilisé, très agréable et propre et avait tout ce dont nous avions besoin. Dehors, il y avait la vue la plus incroyable sur les Cévennes, en particulier depuis la piscine où l'on peut voir beaucoup de la belle nature et il y avait cette bonne odeur de lavande. Maryse et son mari étaient très sympathiques et même si nous ne parlons pas français et ne comprenons qu'un peu le français nous avons réussi à nous comprendre, avec un peu d'aide de Google traduction.

Accueillis du 26 au 29/05 dans un gîte bien équipé par des hôtes très aimable. On a pu profiter de la piscine avec vu sur le Mont Ventoux et visiter les environs. Merci encore pour les petits cadeaux. Expérience à renouveler!

In einem wunderschönen Garten befindet sich die von uns allein genutzte schnuckeligeTerrasse zum Frühstücken, Abendessen und gemütlichen Verweilen. Am oberen Teil des Anwesens liegt der Salzwasserpool: wenn man darin schwimmt hat man eine tolle Aussicht auf die Berge. Die Wirtsleute sind sehr großzügig mit Gaben aus ihrem Garten und freuten sich über eine tägliche Unterhaltung mit uns. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

My husband and our 2 sons, aged 3 and 6 months enjoyed a weeks stay at this heavenly gite in the Cevenne. The gite is simple with a well equipped kitchen, toaster/ coffee maker/oven/microwave/ dishwasher/ access to washing machine but clean and very comfortable. We enjoyed the modern bathroom and sleeping in the wine cellar! The surroundings are stunning, fabulous views of the countryside, chickens in the garden, we even met the family tortoises, which delighted our toddler. The pool is fabulous and garden had everything to entertain children for a week or longer, including a trampoline, slide, swing, petanque, ping pong... everything we hoped for! Maryse and Patrick were fantastic hosts, welcoming us warmly and helping to practice our french! We loved the personal touches of water in the fridge on arrival and some homemade strawberry jam! A 5 minute drive into the town provides ice cream parlours, cafes and restaurants, a weekly market, supermarket, bakery and we went wild swimming in Le Gardon river. Another highlight was the steam train between Anduze- st Jean du gard. A beautiful place and hope to return next year! Thankyou

Beautifully restored old house in a very quiet setting, the pool was bliss. Owners friendly and kind; we heartily recommend. The Cevennes region is worth a visit. I wish we could stay for a month!
