Cottage XXX in the middle of the woods

This is an extremely well equipped 2 person studio apartment as a ground floor of the owners amazing self reconstructed farmhouse. Pierre and Sylvie are fantastic hosts, very welcoming and keen to ensure your comfort. The lovely outside grounds were perfect for keeping cool in v hot July weather. Our old, somewhat blind and grouchy dog loved sleeping on the cool grass. The hosts dog was extremely well behaved and tolerant of ours. As were the hosts of our poor French. Their beautiful sheepdog Yassou even accompanied me on my daily walks. The shaded pathways in the woods are perfect for walking in sunny weather.Follow Pierre's instructions for the route up the mountain. The last bit of off road was fine even for our low set Prius but go the wrong way and you'll need a jeep! The cottage is very close to the pleasures of this amazing region. Although when you are there you feel as if you are far from the madding crowds. It's a real slice of heaven

Wonderful modern Apartment, embedded in meadows and forests, part of an old traditional house. Very friendly host. The last part of the access road is a gravel road, in part through the forest.

The house and area are really beautiful and quiet. For us it was the perfect place to find some rest en take the time to read and walk in nature.

Cadre superbe, gîte très coquet et confortable, hôtes charmants, attentifs et discrets. Excellent séjour en tout point. De plus, paradis pour les chiens ! A recommander

Wir wurden nicht nur freundlich empfangen, sondern ebenso begleitet während unseres ganzen Aufenthalts. Unserem Hund hat es mindestens so gefallen wie uns selber, und dazu hat auch der freundliche Hund der Besitzer beigetragen. Wir fühlten uns nicht als Kunden, sondern als Gäste - wunderbar!

We like nature, silence… it was perfect! The appartement was perfect as well, had everything we need and the terrace had a fantastic view. The owners were very friendly and we loved their calm and friendly dog!

Un véritable dépaysement dans cette superbe maison, avec une vue unique. Nous avons été chaleureusement reçu par les propriétaires et avons passé un long weekend tranquille au milieu de la nature.

Pierre has a done a first class job on this little cottage. it is so well equipped for two. The surrounding woods and countryside are a joy to explore. We had a most relaxing stay and enjoyed the wonderful area. Look forward to returning again soon.
