Country house at the heart of the Bourbon hedged farmland - Blomard

On ne peut qu'être bien dans cette jolie maison de campagne confortable et meublée avec goût d'objets, meubles et tissus au charme raffiné et authentique. Je dirai que pour moi c'est la maison de campagne idéale située au coeur d'une région à découvrir absolument. L'accueil de Simone est une joie supplémentaire.

Romantisches kleines sehr gemütliches Haus mit großen eingezäuntem Garten - prima für den Hund - und Blick über die sanften Hügel des Bourbonnais. Montmarault ist 3 km entfernt, kleinerer Ort mit tollen Bäckern, Töpferei und Supermarkt. Das Haus liegt sehr ruhig, Annie ist sehr nett und sympathisch, alles hat wunderbar geklappt. Das Haus ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Wir hatten eine richtig gute Zeit!!

My wife and I and our two dogs had a very pleasant stay in the house in the Bourbonnais. The house is well appointed, it is situated in a quiet surrounding but close to the village of Montmarauld which has all the necessary shops (boulangerie! bar! Carrefour). There is a lot to see and do in the area. We loved the huge garden and the dogs did too. We recommend it!!!!!

Agréable séjour au sein d'une demeure fort confortable permettant de pouvoir profiter de la campagne et de cette belle région bourbonnaise (activités diverses pour toute la famille) Les propriétaires sont très accueillants et fort sympathiques.

We have spent 2 weeks in this wonderful charming house and we loved everything about it! The house itself is beautifully decorated with a lot of thought and character. It is generously equipped and is simply pleasant to spend time in. The garden enclose is spacious and has few sitting areas scattered around and plenty of furniture. We enjoyed dining outside as the weather was just perfect most of the time. The surrounding is rural and very peaceful. Cows were looking at us from the field across the road. In the nearby town of Monmarault there is everything one needs in terms of food shopping and internet. There is plenty to do around. Around 30 mins from there there is an adventure park where you can do kayaking, high ropes forest cycling and more. The pictorial village of Herrison is not to be missed and if you are interested in history, there are plenty of chateaux and fortresses around to explore. Finally, the owners are lovely, helpful and welcoming. We will surly come back!!!

We spent a week in this delightful house in Blomard. It is a beautiful cottage with great atmosphere. We stayed there with 2 couples and a dog, and we really had a good time. There was a fireplace, a large living, 2 seperate bathrooms and toilets and a very large garden. The owners are the sweetest people you can ever imagine. The were very helpful, and fun to talk to. They invited us over for one night and we even got home made French apple-pie and jam and gelee from the lady of the house. They were so kind. The place Blomard is very small, but nearby is Mont Marrault which has a mini-Carrevour, a bakery and a very nice snack-bar where you can have great Crock-Madames! You won't have to eat anything else after that! And the owner is a sweet man. From the cottage you can do good walking, and see all kind of cities too. We went to Clermont-Ferrand, Moulins, Vichy and, really charming: Charroux.The weather could have been better in our week, but the house is cosy so you'll have a good time, even when the sun doesn't shine all the time.

We have had a great holiday at this very charming cottage: the design and quality of the interior is superb, with everything you need. The garden is spacious with different places to sit, a barbecue, grass for badminton and a gravel area for petanque. The owners are so kind and helpful. The local town has a baker, butcher, restaurant and bars. The countryside is rolling and suitable for family hiking. All in all just perfect. What a find! Highly recommended.
