country side, close to the city center

Our stay was wonderful! The house and location are ideal for quiet relaxation yet close to old city Aix en Provence. It is a 45 minute walk downhill to old town Aix or very easy bus ride from just down the lane from the house. Martine is a lovely host and is very helpful. Her home is spacious and comfortable with outdoor spaces to enjoy, too. I highly recommend staying here to visit Aix and this area of Provence. You’ll love it as we did!

This is a lovely place to stay near Aix-en-Provence. Martine went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed during our stay. We chose not to rent a car so travelled by bus and uber and were easily able to reach all the destinations we wanted to in the area. The garden is lovely for relaxing and the enjoying the flowers and bird songs. We would definitely come back again.

Just as advertised the property was close enough to the city center to enjoy without the noise and craziness to keep you up at night. In fact, it was like being in the country kind of quiet. The best of both worlds! The host, Martine, is a sweet & kind lady who is very easy to work with. This is also a great jumping off point to other locations in Provence beyond Aix-en-Provence.

We have had fantastic holidays in Aix-en-Provence. The location is very nice, all clean and in an excellent shape. Very nice garden with a tree giving shaddow during the heat. Aircondition available, which was perfect. Martine is a fantastic host. On time, friendly, excellent English language skills. All you need (incl. bus stop) in walking distance available. Big supermarket 7 minutes by car. To cut a long story short - you cant make anything wrong if you book this house.

The house has a wonderful garden, air conditioning and Martine is a great host! Also a very good bakery is only a short walk away.

This was a very wonderful property for visiting all parts of Provence. The house is good size and matches the pictures. You get a garden, free parking, easy access to Aix and all highway routes. To top it off, Martine is a wonderful host… you do need to bring your own internet.
