Cozy Villa in Caunes-Minervois with Swimming Pool

Een prachtig goed onderhouden huisje met geweldige huiselijke uitrusting en een lekker zwembad. Het ligt wel op een heel steil bergje - je bent inderdaad in 4 minuten in het dorp, maar de terugtocht verloopt een stuk moeizamer. (met de auto stelt het allemaal niks voor).

The beautiful villa is located in a cul-de-sac on the hillside with great views of the village and the Pyrenees in the distance. The footpath to the village is short but a bit arduous due to the difference in altitude. We were there with 5 adults and 2 dogs (2 cars). Parking in the driveway is best done backwards. 2 cars next to each other is a bit tricky but possible (otherwise one after the other). The equipment of the house is impeccable. There are 2 coffee machines, a filter machine and one with pods (Senseo). The beds are a bit too soft for us, but it's our own feeling. The property is roughly fenced, but not necessarily escape-proof for dogs. You just have to keep an eye on them. There are very good restaurants in the place. Our recommendation: La Cédrat and La Marbrerie. Finally, a small suggestion. Since the wind is often very strong, it is not possible to set up a parasol at the pool, because it blows it away. This is also due to the fact that the umbrella stand has torn out. This should be replaced when the opportunity arises. Otherwise, everything is fine. We can only recommend the domicile.

Nice and clean holiday house set in beautiful private quiet surroundings, the town has several restaurants, a small convenience store with excellent butcher and a local bakery. Decent price/quality ratio, maybe a bit on the expensive side. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a practical kitchen and large living room with access to a covered terrace. Medium size pool with weekly maintenance. One of the most complete holiday homes we have rent, some improvements could be done. The bed matrasses are close to renewal, as well some of the kitchen utensils and kitchenware to match the rental rate. The information brochure with all the information about the villa and the sights in the area was super well done, many thanks for this to the owners. Please note, even with the minor constructive criticism we would still hire this holiday house again since none of it had an impact on a great stay.

Wij zijn beiden 60+ , hebben al heel wat vakanties gehad , meestal werd er dan een woning gehuurd , ook vroeger toen de kinderen nog mee met papa en mama op vakantie gingen zelfde formule. Nu zijn we echter onder ons tweetjes naar de Minervois getrokken en hebben daar een week verbleven in Le Palatin. Deze woning heeft onze verwachtingen helemaal ingelost en overtroffen. Prima prijs / kwaliteitsverhouding , zeer verzorgde woning met prachtig uitzicht, 3 mooie grote slaapkamers , 2 badkamers met alle voorzieningen, een geweldige keuken dichtbij het fantastisch overdekt terras en een zeer fijn zwembad .... Werkelijk alles was aanwezig om er een onvergetelijke vakantie van te maken en dat is met de hulp van Le Palatin dan ook helemaal gelukt ! Nog nooit zo'n complete vakantiewoning gehad , dikke pluim ook trouwens voor de info brochure ter plaatse waar je alle informatie kan vinden over de villa én over de bezienswaardigheden in de omgeving, alles netjes in 4 talen ! Wat een geweldig huis. Bij aankomst stond een flesje rosé koud, wat een verrassing. Het zwembad is prima van temperatuur en mooi schoon. De tuin heeft meerdere heerlijke zitjes en is prima omheind voor ons twee honden. Doordat het eigenlijk steeds een beetje waait, is het voor ons nooit te heet in de tuin en huis. Het huis zelf is zeer compleet, heeft goede bedden en is erg ruim. Dit huis is echt aan te raden voor een heerlijke vakantie.

Prachtig huis, met alles er op en eraan . Voldoende apparatuur en servies / glazen/ bestek. Zeer ruime goed ingerichte tuin met voldoende tuinmeubelen , heerlijk zwembad veel privacy en mooi uitzicht. Alle benodigde boodschappen op loopafstand te koop evenals bezoek aan restaurants. De communicatie over aankomst enz zeer goed. We hebben een hond mee en die kan rustig rondlopen, omdat de tuin goed is afgesloten met hek rondom. Top.

Makkelijke toegang via de sleutelsafe. Zeer rustig gelegen. Zeer verzorgde en van alle gemakken voorziene villa. Mooi verzorgd zwembad. Handige informatiemap incl. leuke wandelroutes lag klaar. Uitstekend omheind voor honden. Vriendelijk telefonisch contact met de Nederlandstalige verhuurmaatschappij (om een probleem met de WiFi snel op te lossen).

Tip-Top ausgestattetes, gemütliches Ferienhaus. Küche perfekt eingerichtet. Alles gepflegt und sauber. Toller Ort, vom Haus zum Bäcker / Ort ca. 4 Minuten zu Fuß. Gerne wieder, ist nur zu empfehlen. Unterhaltungselektronik, W-Lan etc. besser als bei uns Zuhause. Betreuung per SMS, Mail und Phone super.
