Crossing sea-facing apartment with 2 sea view terraces, Le Touquet and dunes

The apartment was good and well equipped. Great location and nice spaces to relax. The beds were very comfortable (note it’s not king size but 2 singles pushed together with single bed bedding ). Unfortunately, there was building work going on directly above us and drilling and hammering woke us at 0800 each morning. It was very loud and impacted our stay. The communication from the host (after accepting our booking) was incredibly poor. The night before we were due to arrive, I was sent a message telling me to give the check in key holder a cleaning fee. I replied straight away explaining that my receipt from Vrbo shows the service charge is already paid. She didn’t respond. Then the night before we were checking out, the host sent another message saying ‘The service charge was ‘Abritel HomeAway’ and I offered you the garage so please pay the amount’. I have no idea what the host meant but none of these ‘charges’ are advertised on the listing and my rental contract with Vrbo clearly shows Taxes and Fees all included. The host had every opportunity to advise of hidden charges before accepting my booking. Why didn’t they? It should be a basic of any rental. To have no clarity on charges is unethical and made me feel very anxious and soured our stay. It seems odd and at a sharp contrast to all the 5 out of 5 reviews for this property which is surprising, but this was my experience.

Being right on the edge of town and out of season, this was a perfectly peaceful place to stay. A short walk took us to both the heart of town and the serenity of the dunes and vast expanse of beach. Facilities were all available for a complete self contained stay.

Très agréable week-end entre copines pour alterner soins à la thalasso (face à la résidence), marches sur la plage, courses rue de Metz et restaurants. Merci à Maryse pour l’accueil et sa disponibilité. Magnifique vue sur mer. Terrasse arrière agréable. Couchages de qualité. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir.

Très bon accueil. Appartement très agréable avec entre autres le balcon, vue sur mer mais également avec la terrasse bien équipée côté ville. Belles vues des deux côtés. Location à recommander

Appartement spacieux et lumineux, très agréable, cette vue mer, on ne s'en lasse pas. Nous reprendrons cet appartement aux beaux jours si disponible, avec plaisir.

A lovely appartment with a large livingroom. Mostly the frontview and the terras in the full sun are lovely. Only minor point is that the village and stores are quit a walk away. But when that's ok, you've have the best place in town. We loved our holidays here.

Die Wohnung hat eine schöne Terrasse mit Blick über den Ort und einen Balkon mit Blick übers Meer. Leider war die Hausfassade zum Meer mit einem Gerüst versehen, so dass man den Balkon nicht betreten durfte. Darauf hatte der Vermieter jedoch vor der Buchung aufmerksam gemacht.
