😊: Great location in the center of Dunkerque. Tram stops in front of the house, harbour and supermarkets around the corner, as well as the main tourist center. The appartment looked exactly as in the pictures and was spacious enough for 1-2 people staying there. Communication with the host was great. Good internet. Nice warm showers. Overall, good value for money but a little bit more attention to detail couldn't hurt.. 😢: The bed was quite uncomfortable and very small for 2 people. The whole building has one ventilation shaft, so when someones cooks fish downstairs, you can smell it (not the owners fault tough). The appliances like toaster and microwave did not function as desired, I'd say they need to be replaced. The appartment was cleaned upon arrival but nevertheless, the blanket and sheets on the bed had stains in them. They need to be replaced too as obviously, the stains won't come out..

😊: Nice location in the middle of town. Easy to access with the lock box. Good, well priced accommodation..

😊: Its location was great, right by the harbour and the city hall and church. The facilities were exactly as described/photographed, but you got what you paid for, ie. they were pretty basic.. 😢: The sofa bed had broken slats on it, that we needed to just lay across in place and hope they stayed put under the ‘mattress’. (They did!) The lack of full windows/bunker-style windows at ceiling level only, were disappointing, especially considering the gorgeous view of the harbour that you could have been getting, from this 3rd floor apartment, (but you can’t do a lot about that I know!) The parking was a hassle generally. You could only park for free from 6pm until 9am anywhere close to the apartment, which meant we needed to move the car each day to a pay and display car park. (We did find a reasonably priced one right next to the Operation Dynamo 1940 museum though, so parked there each day!).
