😊: Location is fun in the marina. 15 min walk to the beach more like. Very beautiful in the morning with the boat outside and good it’s on split levels. 😢: Any place you stay is going to have a few ‘quirks’, but rarely do they impact the overall experience. But when there is a cluster of problems it starts to become clear that money-saving is the DNA of this apartment. It would cost just one night’s fees to dramatically improve the guest experience. Dishwasher broken for months apparently. All pots and pans scratched to the extent they are almost unusable and almost certainly carcinogenic. Laundry and dish racks - knackered, rusty, and both require a lot of effort to carry out their purpose. Any cookware that was usable was dirty. No fan provided. Aircon control taken from the wall - not comfortable in the August heat. Shutters broken. Upstairs bath so full of hair it could barely drain water. Downstairs shower broken - somehow we managed to fix it but you couldn’t change where the water was coming from. Amongst the many awful cliché pleasantries on the wall, I read above the stairs ‘do small things with great love’ - I only wish the host would follow this advice.

😊: Very cozy, charismatic. Quiet and beautiful view from the window. The only thing in the bedroom at the bottom was a constantly damp wall. The house has 2 showers, but 1 toilet. For people traveling in pairs, it is important to know that a bed is very small in one bedroom..

😊: Location. Nice views over water.. 😢: No mention of stairs inside the apartment on Booking.com Difficult to find property; we were given 11 Ave de La Hague but it was actually 179!! Description stated there were two bathrooms but didn’t state one of them didn’t have a toilet. So friends staying in downstairs bedroom had to go upstairs to use the only toilet. Only one towel per person; no hand towels. Almost empty soap in upstairs bathroom. Pillows old and lumpy. Cobwebs on ceiling in downstairs bedroom. Large rusty cabinet in upstairs bedroom, needs to be removed! Dishwasher didn’t work properly. Kitchen worktops were dirty..

😊: great location and the owners were super to deal with. Loved the property.. 😢: nothing really-would be nitpicking!.
