This property is an attractively decorated, sunny apartment looking out on to a pretty garden. Every kitchen appliance imaginable is supplied, and it is extremely clean. A cleverly-designed kitchen/living area maximises space, beds and pillows are extremely comfortable, there is plenty of storage and hanging space for clothes, and the area is quiet at night. Excellent wi-fi coverage. Local tourist literature and maps are provided, along with childrens' books, DVD's and games. Christophe, our host, was friendly and prompt with answers to queries, and also on site for any immediate help. The metro station is in easy walking distance; trams a little further. Lille centre is easily and quickly accessible by metro. For drivers there is private parking at the front door, and the apartment is close to main motorways with easy access to other French and Belgian towns. It is also a short walking distance from an excellent boulangerie and supermarket as well as cafes, restaurants and ATMs. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend it without reservation.
