😊: The rural village is already something special - large properties spread around tiny roads in a gentle valley outside of the town of Lisieux. The house is near the top of the hillside, surrounded by woods & fields, open views to the south. At night there's a few lights visible far away on the other side of the valley. It is silent, during the day & at night. The house has a large terrace with tables overlooking the valley. The main door, which has roses next to it, leads to a small living room, with a small kitchen & WC. There's a room next to the kitchen, which has large sliding doors to the terrace & to the garden at the back. From the living room there's some small stairs leading to a large area running along the house under the roof. THere's a shower/WC, a room with a queen bed, leading to another room with two queen beds. There are windows to the sides & at the end. It's great for a family together or a group of kids. Downstairs, going past the stairs there's a small living room, another room with shower/sink and on the corner of the house a wonderful bedroom with a large double bed & windows/doors to the garden at the side, to the garden in front & a glass door to the terrace. It's perfect for parents downstairs, kids upstairs. We enjoyed our stay. GoogleMaps leads you to undrivable forest tracks. Here's how to find it: take the D262, a small road from Rocques towards Hermival. After 1.5km, before Hermival, turn left onto the Route de la Barberie, a country lane up the hillside, which becomes Route des Bruyeres Morin along the top of the hill. After 1km there's a tiny turning to the right into Chemin des Pains, an even smaller lane with high hedges. Then after 100m there's a smaller lane to the left of some 25m leading to a gate. Behind the gate is a private driveway, 50m to a gravel parking area next to the house. The nearest neighbour is perhaps 100m away..
