depontet-fronzele oil mill: gite \"le laurier\"

Fantastic location for a relaxing holiday! We really enjoyed the feeling of 'away from it all' as we stayed at this oil-producing farm over the New Year's week. We had the Ardèche to ourselves... The owners were very friendly during the booking and welcoming once we got there, making sure that we had the best possible stay. The apartment is well equipped (if you're missing something, just ask!) and has its own, pleasant rustic charme. The double bed is extremely comfortable and hard to get away from... Since the weather was very sunny, if a bit windy, we managed to explore many different small villages and to do some incredibly beautiful long walks, after which we could soak in the jacuzzi and have a nice sauna. As only drawback, I would say that the apartment and the spa area are more suited to a summer or mid-season stay, The floors were rather cold despite the radiators working full blast, and even in the sauna the floor didn't seem to get warm, forming then condensation visible on the glass door. Also some villages appeared like ghost towns... where do the locals hide in low season? Expect to find 90% of the restaurants closed in december, and the remaining 10% only open for lunch. But hey, we still had a fantastic holiday and loved the silence, the friendly animals running around the courtyard and the total darkness of the Lagorce nights!

Couple avec un jeune enfant, nous avons passé un très bon séjour authentique et reposant. Les propriétaires très chaleureux, attentionnés et discrets ont tout fait pour que notre halte chez eux soit vraiment réussie: un grand merci pour leur accueil et leur bonne table d’hôte tout bio! Le gite en lui même est confortable avec une très bonne literie et très calme. La piscine est agréable et le jacuzzi est vraiment un plus après une bonne randonnée! L'endroit est charmant entouré d'oliviers et de jolies promenades au départ du gite. Bref un lieu en dehors du temps, de bons souvenirs qu'on remporte avec nous sans oublier la délicieuse huile d'olives dans nos bagages!

Super séjour ! Gîte propre, confortable et bien situé (proche de Vallon et de Ruoms). Idéal pour une famille avec 1 ou 2 enfants. Propriétaire accueillant !

Ce séjour était vraiment très agréable. Le logement est très propre, bien soigné. La location est très biens située (près des gorges) et l'environnement est propice au repos. Les propriétaires sont très sympas et discrets. Nous vous recommandons grandement cette location où le SPA vient couronner le tout.
