Dijon hypercentre Le Berbisey

😊: It was close to the centre of town. 😢: We booked the accommodation in December 2025 and said we would arrive between 4pm and 5pm on July 15th 2026. We did not receive instructions to access the property until after our arrival when we had no internet. Local residents and shop keeper didn't know of the property. A phone call to the owner went to voice mail and was not responded to. We had to find other accommodation which cost €344 for 2 nights. About 7.30pm on the 15th we received the access instructions but no apology. We eventually found the property on the 16th down an unkempt alley way. On inspecting the apartment we found no fan so contacted the owner to procure one as France was in the middle of a heat wave. We stayed for 2 of our paid 4 nights. We had no fan, no dark curtains to block the large security lights in the alley way. You had to sit sideways on the toilet.The owner showed no photos of the exterior of the property.

😊: Looked nice and was close to town. Good size and very clean.. 😢: Struggled to turn on lights outside the apartment in the stairwell.

😊: Great location, the apartment had everything you might need. Only Dyson ionic hairdryer was missing. ( just joking).. 😢: There is no privacy in the bedroom as it is connected with the living room with a window. No issue if you are staying just with your partner but a bit weird otherwise..

😊: A small, cozy, atmospheric apartment in the center of Dijon! All the attractions are within walking distance. And despite the location this place is very quiet. Everything necessary for a short stay is available in the apartment. Jérémie is a very responsive host. During our trip, we had a problem, and he kindly extended our stay by a few hours.
