Domaine Du Chateau

Beautiful home. Very clean. Very charming.

Excellent and comfortable property with plenty of space.Local amenities are sparce so need a car.

I have rented many houses over the years, but the Domaine de Cromey was the most wonderful by far. Book this chateau immediately! We are already planning a return. The photos online are accurate but the property's charm and details go beyond these photos - not to mention the kindness and attention to detail of the hosts. We traveled to Burgundy with 5 other couples (12 people total). The chateau had more room than we needed with a large dining room/bar, kitchen, living room and 3 patios and a lovely landscaped yard with paths in addition to the pool. The 6 bedrooms were large, clean and (it seemed) newly decorated, all with private bathrooms with nice products, robes and slippers. Not a detail was overlooked and Jean Luc, who manages the property, went over and beyond expectations by giving us a tour of the gardens, bringing us a quantity of raspberries from the garden, and providing guidance on all sorts of topics, from hikes to towns. It was like staying at a luxury hotel that you have all to yourself. The wine from the connected winery was also very good (try the Cremant!). I can't say enough about the chateau and hosts and we are so grateful that we were able to stay a week at Cromey. We'll be back!

The luxury Manor was absolutely breathtaking, the surroundings are full of flower gardens and is so peaceful. The home is large and extremely comfortable. We had 11 people staying and the accommodations were perfect. The old wine press in the large dining room was lovely. The views of the Burgundy countryside from each patio were lovely. The bedrooms are spacious with en-suite bathrooms and a/c in each. The pool was enjoyable. The house manager was easy to work with and the communication was clear. We toured most of the Burgundy wine region and this was our home base. We truly felt pampered and this home was a wonderful place to start and end our days. We highly recommend this property it is worth it!!!

We’ve rented a lot of other villa, chateaux and domaines, but this one was the best! The six en suite bedrooms were all the same size and had the same amenities so none of the six couples had a less than optimal room as we’ve experienced in other rentals. The two on-site staff were wonderful and spoke perfect English (they’re Irish so not a surprise). The location in Burgundy was perfect for day trips. If you book this rental, you’ll be delighted!
