DOMAINE LARBUT

😊: The static caravan was set in the owners garden, well equipped & plenty of hot water. Nice covered area for outside dining. The owner kindly gave us some tomatoes from her garden.. 😢: We arranged to meet the owner on the day of arrival. When we arrived, there was nobody there to greet us except a very large unfriendly dog, barking and growling behind the front gate. The owner came back after about 10 minutes & let us in. The dog continued to bark, so l was reluctant to get out of the car. The owner said the dog was soft but didn't appear that way!! The dog continued to spoil our holiday by running round & round the car evertime we entered or exited the property!! The final straw came when it actually bit the lower front bumper & left a big scratch!! The owners have admitted liability but l now have the onerous task of sorting it out through the insurance company. The property was set near a very busy & noisy road. which made access quite scary! There was no information at the property regarding tourist attractions or places to go etc.( not even where to put rubbish) The property was quite small especially the bedrooms. The swimming pool was not private, although the photos give that impression, it is actually set right outside the owners property..
