😊: More or less timely refund/reaction.. 😢: 1/5 Avoid this place. We accepted the host's offer of an early check-in and paid an additional €20 for it. We specifically planned our day around that time, only to arrive and discover there was no key in the lockbox. We were left waiting outside with two small children, with no idea when we would be able to enter. To make matters worse, the hallway leading to the apartment smelled absolutely awful. The odor was so strong that my children said they felt like they were going to throw up while we were waiting. After multiple messages, the host admitted that the previous guest had not even checked out yet and was not responding. In other words, they sold an early check-in they were never in a position to provide. The situation became so unacceptable that they agreed to refund the entire booking. While we appreciate that they took responsibility, that meant we suddenly had to find alternative accommodation at the last minute, after already arriving with our family. This caused unnecessary stress and disrupted the first day of our trip. Refunding the booking does not make up for poor planning and leaving guests stranded. If you're travelling with children or have a schedule to keep, I cannot recommend staying here.
