😊: There was air-conditioning in one of the two bedrooms, which helped a lot with the stifling summer heat and humidity, and the fan in the living room helped to spread the cool air coming from above. The couch / chaise longue in the living room was very comfortable to sit and lie on. The tall fridge with separate freezer came in handy to unload our cooling box. The beds were quite comfortable. The welcome message from the property owner was a nice touch.. 😢: The building in which the apartment is situated is still undergoing renovation works, which affects the air quality in the staircase going up to it (top floor). Fortunately, once inside the apartment the air in there is fine. The floor in the shower area is made of small square tiles, some of which are loose, which makes stepping on them uncomfortable, and could cause water infiltration issues if left unchecked. The extraction fan in the bathroom does not work. The lights used in the bathroom emit a lot of heat. We found a line of wood dust deposited on the bed linens directly underneath the roof supporting wooden beams, which might be a result of the renovation works or it could be a sign of another issue. We also found some wasps by the window in one of the bedrooms and on the floor close to it. Either these wasps got there by chance when the window had been opened before our arrival, or they came from somewhere else within the building, suggesting a nest nearby..

😊: It was beautiful decorated and designed. Cosy and well equipped. Sorry we only had one night in Trevoux..
