😊: Our family of 5 loved our stay in Allison & Marc's apartment in late July 2026. The location of the apartment is stunning, set right inside the heart of the Medieval Village overlooking the cathedral and market stalls outside the front door. Allison was such a gracious & helpful hostess - she met us upon arrival, drove us and our luggage down the hill, helped carry our luggage up to the 2nd floor apartment, showed us how everything worked, and then drove with us to the secured parking spot. We quickly realized what a gem of a parking spot that was in a safe, secure, easy, free parking garage that we didn't have to try to jam our car into. It was also only a 7 min flat walk away, so when we left, we just wheeled our luggage on foot as it was Saturday market day. It was such a joy to be able to enjoy the Wednesday morning market, purchase all sorts of goodies, and take the haul back up to the apartment for a feast. We'd highly recommend timing your visit here so you can wake up early and step out into the Wednesday or Saturday morning markets before the large crowds of people come. The apartment is also in the ideal location for day trips to nearby caves like Rouffignac, Lascaux, Font-de-gaume, Gouffre de Padirac, or canoeing down the Dordogne to see the castles, or visiting beautiful towns like Rocamadour. Sarlat can get very busy and quite crowded, especially on the market days so having such a lovely, cool, quiet apartment to step into for a breather is a delight. There are also 2 cute little balconies to have morning coffee or an evening drink on. We'd highly recommend staying atleast a few days (or more) in this special apartment!. 😢: Nothing!.

😊: We loved this gem of a property located right in the centre of this great old town. So much to see and do both on the doorstep of our appartment and further afield to so many interesting places in the Dordogne valley. After a day exploring it was so relaxing to return to this thoughtfully renovated property and with the parking garage provided only a short walk away, there was no stress getting back into the old town. Our hosts Allison and Marc were exceptional and always available for assistance if required. Marc transported our group and bags, door to door from garage to apartment both ways of our 5 day stay. This help up those stairs was invaluable and done with a smile and good grace. Thank you so much!.

😊: The refurbishment had been carried out with the utmost attention to detail and very stylishly. No expense spared and attention to detail was obvious (Who else has double USB connections on the headboard of the bed!). This apartment really had the Wow! factor. It is also in the middle of Sarlat and comes with a private parking space included, away from the property, but with the friendly and very helpful owners, Marc & Allison, providing transport both there and back.All in all, a wonderful 2 nights.. 😢: Whilst the stairs provided a bit of a challenge, this in no way detracted from our enjoyment of this wonderful apartment and we would have no hesitation in either booking again or recommending it to others..
