😊: Nearby Epernay town.. 😢: Here are the issues we had while staying: • The table and cloth shown in the Booking.com photos are not in the room. We found the table broken in the storage area wich is in the room behind a door. • cockroaches in the living room. Verry unhygienic. • No dish soap and a very dirty sponge in the kitchen, wich was used by previous owners. • The kitchen cupboards are dirty. • The lights above the bed do not work. • One of the bathroom lights is also not working. • The dishes in the storage area are dirty. • The electrical outlets seem unsafe because they are loose. • There is a handprint stain above the bed. • The cooking hob is dirty. • The bench is very dirty. • no free parking spots nearby. There was no way of communicating with the host. He lied that he send someone to fix the sponge, even tho they never came and there were a lot more problems. He did not want to give us a discount or our money back. The dead buggs on the bed made our skin itch the whole stay...

😊: Great location (if you do not come by car) and clean. 😢: There is street parking available, but it is always occupied. Some basic things you would normally expect, and which are easy to fix, are missing. For example, the lamp above the bed does not work. There is a nice coffee cup, but it leaks. The apartment has no scissors, no proper kitchen knife, no extractor hood, no kitchen towel, and no hooks to hang a bathroom towel or kitchen tea towel. All instructions are only available through an app. Nothing is printed, so you have to search there for the Wi-Fi code or the rules on waste separation, which feels inconvenient. On top of that, the information in the app does not match the details on Booking.com (for example, the check-out time is different). Communication via Booking.com is fast, but the host only replies in French. The front door handle is loose and falls out easily, it literally drops to the floor if you use a bit of force. When we mentioned this, the response was that it is “supposed to be like that.” This gives the impression that you might suddenly not be able to get in or out, which is not acceptable..

😊: Good location, quite quiet and peaceful. 😢: A lot of the things in the apartment were either broken or just about to break. Quite dusty, stained couch, and didn't really feel very clean overall. Also, can't reach the property owner through Booking.com. We were left with about 1/20th of a toilet paper roll for 3 days. Not necessarily a great value for money..
