Eco gite 4 'Sur le Chemin des Vignes ...' à 2 pas de Salins les Bains

We loved our stay in the eco house. The house was ideal for us - a good size and, because of the mezzanine floor, it felt really roomy with the attractive open rafters. Our hostess was very helpful and we were grateful that she was able to provide a DVD player so we could watch a boxed set we had brought from the UK. The cottage is located on the edge of the village just a short drive from Salins Les Bains- it would be difficult to stay here without a car. It’s a lovely area with a lot to see and places to visit.

On se sent bien dans ce gîte tout confort, très calme, chaleureux, spacieux, idéal pour se ressourcer. Très bien situé avec un grand choix de randonnées, les cascades du hérisson valent le détour et de très beaux villages pittoresques

Pas envie de rentrer sur Paris, le Jura c’est beaucomme tout, la couleur verte etait dominante, royale, les tons de vert multiples, l’eau aussi etait royale, Loue, Lison, Furieuse.. un excellent sejour, rupture complète..

Gîte parfait pour 4 personnes (2 adultes et 2 enfants). Il est très bien équipé et très propre. Bien situé, l'environnement est très agréable. Nous avons passé un excellent sejour pour notre 1ère dans le Jura.

However, the cottage had everything we needed, except a microwave might have been helpful, bit not necessary! Very clean and expertly designed space. The host and hostess were always helpful and charming. They spoke very little English, however we made do with hand signals and email. Towns near by have stores and restaurants. Beautiful views and countryside everywhere! The area is very unspoiled by tourists, so it feels like the "true French character!

We were very happy to stay in this ecological build house. The owners are very friendly and made us feel at home. They made themeselves a beautifull cottage. Frederic gave his handycraft stamps on it by designing the stairs in the livingroom, so beautifully done. But also in the bathroom a small but remarkable item. We felt very much at ease and had a super stay!

Lovely cottage, clean and well equipped. We stayed with the two of us for one week in October. Location is very quiet and excellent for those who love a peaceful environment. From the house you can directly make nice walks to the vineyards just to the right or down to the little river "Loue", beautiful! The villages Salins-Les-Bains and Arbois are just around the corner. A visit to Besancon, less then one drive is more then worthwhile. Don't forget to visit Baume-les-Messieurs and make the big "rendonnee". Be sure to try the Jura wines "Savigin" or "Ploussard" in Arbois. Many thanks to Maryline and Frederic who received us very kindly..

We had a lovely stay in this unusual recently built cottage on the edge of a small village. Children would love the quirky staircase to their mezzanine bedroom! The owners Maryline and Frederic live below with their young family, but they never intrude and their garden is at a lower level behind the cottage. There is a lot to see and do in this beautiful area and local walk information and maps are provided. No shops in the village, but a good boulangerie is 2 minutes drive away. A charcoal BBQ is provided and there are restaurants not far away. Salins Les Bains is 10 minutes away and has a supermarket and salt museum. If you want a relaxing holiday in great surroundings this is the place and driving on French roads is so easy compared with the congested UK! Thank you Maryline and Frederic for a great holiday.
