Entre lac et montagne, gîte dans une ancienne ferme rénovée

We spent some wonderful and relaxing days in a well maintained property and loved the style of the appartement. Anne gave us a warm welcome and everything soon felt like home. So a clear recommendation!

We had a very memorable experience staying here and we hope to come here again in future. We received a warm welcome, the house was easy to settle in, and the rustic furniture had great style.

The situation is wonderful, on a very quiet road. The house is set in a large garden, with a couple of tables outside to eat, where the friendly dog and chickens pot around. The decor inside is rural and tasteful, just as the photos show. There’s an excellent fromagerie and boulangerie within 5minutes walk. Everything else is further away. Anne was very helpful, speaks reasonable English. All the facilities are good, although the washing machine is pretty ineffective. It would be hard not to have a lovely time here.

Anne has transformed an old barn into three amazing spaces. She lives at one end of the building and the two apartments are located at the other end. The result allows for a quiet and private setting for all, while she remains easily accessible when needed. A playful dog, friendly cat and a few curious hens wander in the large lovely bucolic yard. I absolutely love her sense of style which makes the interior of the apartment feel like the perfect combination of old and new. We fantasized about how lovely it would to live there. The location requires a car and a gps is advisable the first time you drive there, but we quickly became familiar with the area which is about a 15 minute drive from Aix les Bains. It's a great place from which to plan day trips to the mountains or the lake. Thank you Anne! We hope to return soon!

we stayed there four days and can only recommend this lovely chalet for everyone who is looking for a quiet place within beautiful nature. our host Ann is a sympatic and lovley lady and she gave us very useful tips to beautiful spots in the region which you can't find on trippadvisor. ;) We will very likely visit her again.

Anne greeted us with a lovely evening meal, served in the garden with wonderful views of the surrounding mountains. Accommodation is attached to the owners property but offers plenty of privacy. The property is not as remote as I had imagined and attractions etc are within easy reach.

We looked and looked until found it...........an honest, warm, beautifully detailed and generous space with Ann an genuinely hospitable host. Stay there....you won't regret it and say hello to her chooks (Napoleon and Joséphine) and her very intelligent dog. We are looking forward to comeback soon..! Stephen and Gloria

This place is gorgeous! The photos really do not do it justice. The interior of the guest accommodation is worthy of a spread in a design magazine. All finishes and furnishings have been carefully selected, resulting in an oasis of comfort and elegance. The main bedroom has an ensuite and its own spacious sitting room, which leads into the main lounge (both with lovely fireplaces!). Off the main lounge is another fabulous bathroom with full size bath. The 'L' shape of the lounge room, separate bathrooms and mulitple access doors means that privacy could easily be attained for two couples in this accommodation. A kitchen is available on request, but host Ann can also provide dinner - which I would recommend! We travelled in summer, so the big garden was a perfect spot to start and end the day dining alfresco. The restaurants and shopping of Aix-les-bains is a short drive away, or cycle up Mont Revard for a stunning view across to Mt Blanc. A little patch of paradise!
