We loved it here. Lots of room here: Inside living room is huge with great sofas, 3 large bedrooms (including guesthouse) each with bathroom. We loved the shaded outside eating area and large pool. Dishwasher and laundromat are ageing and may need replacement, Beds in downstairs bedroom not very comfortable. Internet connection is OK but not great. Very nice and responsive local agent.

We spent a lovely 3 weeks in this beautiful house. There's lot of space for a family of four and lots of privacy. We were given a lovely welcome by Jennifer and Nat (the house manager) and the house is kept beautifully clean. Thoroughly recommended.

This lovely and comfortable farmhouse located just beyond the picturesque village of Entrecasteaux in the cinematic French countryside is a perfect home base for a family or friends getaway. Like a scene from Beauty and the Beast you will wind through cobblestone streets, past fountains and the village Chateau, with flower boxes and shutters adorning each window, to your very own Provencal farmhouse. Les Moulieres is set between a vineyard and a river with a main house that sleeps 4 with two bedrooms and two bathrooms and a guest house that sleeps two with its own kitchenette and bathroom. The layout is perfect to come either come together to enjoy meals, movies, conversations either inside or outside and yet each have your own private space to collect thoughts and have some alone time. Enjoy all the comforts of home, a fireplace, TV, WiFi, laundry and a fully equipped kitchen. The home is clean and well appointed. Spend your days tasting at nearby wineries, wandering local farmers markets, take long drives through hillside limestone villages, through lavender fields and along verdant river gorges only to return to your private farmhouse to take a dip in the backyard pool. Or jet set off for a day trip to the beach clubs of sunny St.Tropez, rub elbows along the Cote D'Azur in Cannes or try your hand at lady luck in the casinos of Monte Carlo. Walk in Van Gogh's footsteps or simply sit and enjoy a cafe creme and pain au chocolat close to home as you look out on the town chateau. Also to be found in Entrecasteaux is a boulangerie, fine dining at the top of the ramp at La Fourchette, rock and roll pizza with a killer patio at Le Tempo. The property, the surroundings, you will be living la belle vie!

This property is beyond description yet the images will remain with us for a lifetime. We flew into Paris and saw the tourist sights for 4 days. We woke up early on Saturday and took the high speed train to AIX Provence where we rented our car and began the journey to Entrecasteaux. Our directions were perfect and in no time we were greeted at the house by the local English speaking host and given a grand tour of the property including the house, guest house and pool area. (yes, we went swimming!) Our days were filled with visiting local farmer markets in the neighboring communities as well as day trips to Monte Carlo, Canne, Nice and other fabulous locations. Some days we cooked in the complete kitchen and other days visited local eateries. Our timing was perfect, visited the Bern Castle estate while they were having a chocolate and wine tasting event! We were 4 adults....would we do this again?.....YES, in a heart beat. This property was the overall best experience out of all of our years of travel. So relaxing, so exciting, so beautiful. We left the house on the following Saturday morning, caught the high speed train back to Paris, and enjoyed our last night in Paris by reminiscing about our perfect holiday in Entrecasteaux!

I stayed at this place twice...once in early summer, then the following year in September. The first time -- with the lavender in bloom around the house -- we did a lot of wandering. Old churches, 15th century bridges connecting tiny towns to grapevined fields. Town markets. Gorges ending in lakes. Picnics along the way.And some outstanding restaurants when we got tired of cooking from the markets. The second time -- the figs waiting to be picked from the trees just out the kitchen door -- I was lazier. Reading by the pool. Still warm enough to swim. Slow walks around the land, down to the river, up to the old stone houses. Just writing about it makes me want to pack my bag again. I went with friends -- they stayed in the house -- I stayed in the little house alone. We met for meals and adventures. There were only 3 of us, but there could have been more and we still wouldn't have gotten into each others way. The place is a farmhouse like no farmer ever lived in. All the conveniences without any upscale cold hotel feel. Wish I could go back...envy you if you do
