😊: Very well appointed property in lovely village. Parking within the grounds.. 😢: Not a problem for us as we are agile, but my son who is very tall with back problems, would have struggled with the low beams to access the bedrooms..

😊: Everything was good and the host was well mannered and the house was comfy and clean.

😊: Nothing. 😢: The owner sent a message just a few hours before full refund deadline, in the evening, to inform of house rules only partially mentioned in the property description. Most interesting, they charge 50€ for cleaning or, in alternative, a deposit of 80€ to be refund only if the property has been completely cleaned at the end of the stay. We would have stayed in the property only a few hours to sleep during a road trip and faced the possibility to pay double the price agreed if they find an hair in a corner. A mail exchange with the owner didn’t do anything to cancel the strong impression this advertisement is more of a scam than a genuine, safe offer of accomodation..

😊: Beautifully restored half-timber house in Chavanges. House very clean and bedding of good quality. Spacious and well-equipped kitchen. Washing machine was great to bring washing up to date. Lovely terrace with solid outside furniture. We had dinner on the terrace! Bedroom upstairs - comfortable bed, and plugs next to bed to charge phones etc. Just be aware that you have to bend quite low to get to the bed - did not bother us. Bathroom spacious with lovely shower. Bathroom and toilet downstairs. We were walking the Via Francigena so did not have car. But the Proxi, boulangerie and pharmacy 3 min walk from the house. We enjoyed our stay! Reccommended. 😢: The bbq area still needs a bit of refurbishing..

😢: Cancelled 48hrs before date, after declaring ridiculous extras. Beware!!!!.
