😊: The hosts, Gilles and Florence, were fantastic. Friendly, welcoming and they obviously pay great attention to every detail of their holiday home. Furthermore they even provide a welcome aperitif for guests on arrival. Unfortunately we arrived quite late and tired so they provided our aperitif on another evening. Whilst chatting when we arrived we mentioned that 2 of us were celiac. Amazingly our hosts took this on board and made sure that all the home prepared, amazing, nibbles were gluten free. Regarding the accommodation; it was very clean and had everything that we needed including a quirky cave lounge! I feel that I should mention however that whilst it was not a problem for us, the layout may not be suitable for everyone particularly the elderly and families with children. You do have to go through one bedroom on the first floor to get to the other on the second floor. The stairs are steep and open tread. Whilst each bedroom had a toilet and sink there was only one shower which was in the first floor bedroom. Whilst perhaps a bit inconvenient we would be happy to stay again and can recommend this property to others.. 😢: Two showers would have been more convenient..

😊: Location was making. The hosts were fantastic. 😢: The only thing that we thought was missing was a nice comfy couple of chairs in the cave in the evenings..

😊: Quirky accommodation, beautiful gardens and buildings. Very kind and generous hosts. Fully equipped kitchen, comfy bed and decent shower. Easy 10 minute drive to large supermarket and into Chinon. Charming location in a beautiful part of France.. 😢: Nothing really but be aware that the access to the parking is very tight- check if you’ve got a big vehicle. was ok for us, Skoda Karoq.
