😊: Nice little village, bar and tabac and a lovely little shop. 😢: This was our first experience of staying at a place that genuinely felt like someone’s home ( this was even mentioned during correspondence). It really feels like you are intruding, stickers everywhere saying private or do not force, areas boarded off etc. The camera when you walk in ( again mentioned in correspondence ) it all feels like you can’t truly relax. Although to be fair they did state it is turned off when you are there. The whole feel is that you are an inconvenience and that you are being accommodated just for the money. No true hospitality so to say. Having worked in hotels for the last 30 years I feel I can say this with some authority. No cleaning materials present to wipe down, poor quality of mattress and towels and also very poor quality of pillows. To such an extent I would advise telling guests not to strip the bed in order for them not to discover. The strangest and most disappointing thing was the overall communication with the host. It was very abrupt, unwelcoming and at inappropriate for a host wanting to create a positive environment for what are essentially paying customers.
