Exceptional panoramic view in a quiet area.

Thank you so much Jean-Paul Myriam for a wounderfull holiday, the property is beautiful, clean and well equiped, we were made to feel very welcome. Outside area was fantastic, lovely pool, gorgeous views, we all had a lovely time relaxing enjoying the pool and surrounding historic villages. Callas is lovely and everyone was very fiendly.

We had intended to visit this property last summer, but had to change plans at the last minute (literally) due to UK Covid travel Policy unexpectedly changing. Thankfully Jean Paul and Myriam were very understanding and allowed us to change the booking. 12 months later and we were delighted that we finally had the chance to visit. Jean Paul and Myriam were very welcoming and were responsive to any requests throughout our stay. The property itself lives up to the high ratings. Wonderful location. So easy to walk into the village! The view across to the village is beautiful. The pool is a great size and we were grateful for the roofed poolside table area which remains under shade all day. This gave us relief from the sun which shone continuously throughout our stay and helps keep the pool at a lovely temperature. The house itself is very clean with all you need to cook with all appliances in excellent working order. Sleeping arrangements were perfect for the 4 of us (Mum, Dad and two adult children). The local area offers some fantastic days out (boating near the Gorges de Verdon, St Tropez via the ferry at Ste Maxime, beautiful hill top villages (Tourtours was our favourite as it has a lively square and wonderful views across the local area) and beaches within an hours drive (we were advised to arrive and leave the beach early which was a great tip!). All in all a fantastic 2 weeks. The best part though was the opportunity to meet Jean Paul and Myriam. Wonderful people who really do make this place special!

We stayed in the property for one week during July. The property itself has character and charm. Clean and tidy with everything needed. The property has air conditioning, but even without it turned on, it remained cool for a lot of the day. The highlight is definitely the outside space. The property sits in a wonderful location overlooking the pretty village. There are multiple outside seating places, meaning you can always find shade or sun. The swimming pool is a really good size, and has wonderful views over the village and surrounding countryside. We enjoyed spending our afternoons sat by the pool reading, swimming, and enjoying the views and tranquility. The owners were helpful and responded quickly to our communication. The owners live next door and welcomed us to the property, as well as making time to come and see us at the end to ask how we had go on. Callas a a good base for exploring this corner of Provence. Lots of pretty, historic villages are nearby, the coast and major towns (Grasse, Aix, Nice, St Tropez) are all within striking distance, and so is the fantastic Verdon Gorge and it’s lakes (Lac St Croix and Lac d’Esparron).

Tolle Gastfreundschaft, wir haben uns rundherum wohl gefühlt

Wir hatten mit unserer Familie (Eltern und Kinder von 12, 14 und 19 Jahren) zwei wunderschöne Wochen in Callas, im Haute Var. Sehr schöner malerischer Ort, ab vom Trubel an den Stränden, die dennoch für Tagesausflüge gut erreichbar sind. Im Ort, der in 10 Minuten fußläufig zu erreichen ist, bekommt man im kleinen Lebensmittelladen und in der sehr guten Bäckerei alles für den täglichen Bedarf. Das Haus ist sehr schön und liebevoll provenzalisch eingerichtet. Es ist in jeder Hinsicht gut ausgestattet, sehr sauber. Die Terrasse und der große Garten ermöglichen von vielen Standpunkten aus den traumhaften Blick auf Callas-wunderschön! Der Pool ist sehr schön, hat eine gute Größe zum Schwimmen und auch Spielen mit der ganzen Familie. Wir haben es sehr genossen! Großes Grundstück mit Stellplatz auch für ein großes Auto. Ganz besonders hervorheben möchten auch wir die Gastfreundschaft von Jean-Paul und Myriam, die uns sehr, sehr freundlich empfangen und uns über die Umgebung und die Geschichte des Hauses erzählt haben. Sie standen immer für Informationen zur Verfügung, halfen uns mit Tipps für Ausflüge und Fahrtrouten sowie Kartenmaterial weiter, blieben aber ansonsten sehr zurückhaltend. Nous venons de passer 2 très belles semaines de vacances dans la maison louée par Jean-Paul et Myriam. La maison est très agréable, la piscine est grande et la vue est superbe. Les propriétaires sont très accueillants et nous ont très bien conseillés concernant les excursions à faire dans les environs. Nous recommandons sans hésiter cette location.

Nous avons passé 2 semaines reposantes dans cette maison très agréable et très bien entretenue. L'équipement est parfait, conforme à la description détaillée et aux nombreuses photos. Les extérieurs (terrasses ombragées ou non selon l'heure, grande piscine privée) sont magnifiques, avec en effet une vue splendide sur le village et les environs. Jean-Paul et Myriam sont très accueillants et nous font partager leur connaissance de la région. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir. Catherine et Eric
