Exceptional Villa in Provence - Paradise above the canopy!

This villa was exceptional. The views are unbeatable. Communication with the owner was easy and quick even from Canada. Being early in the season there were a couple of issues that need to be addressed. 2 of the showers leaked and the Nespresso machine had not been cleaned in a very long time. Instructions on parking prior to arrival would be a great asset as it is a little tricky with 2 gates and small roads. It was a great place to stay for 6 people as we all had our own rooms and bathrooms. Would definitely recommend and would stay there again.

Absolutely stunning! You can stare at the view all day long! Check in was great with Jean-Daniel meeting us at the villa. His communication was brilliant the whole stay. He showed us how everything worked etc. The property was spotless and had everything you need, very hi-tech. All supplies were provided. There are a couple of supermarkets in driving distance or a 30 min walk. Lovely little bakery in the village. From here it is within a 40 mins drive to see Avignon, St Remy, Nimes and the Pont du Gard. The village itself has a pizza shop and bar which were very welcoming.Our party consisted of 3 generations from 12-73 and all of us thoroughly enjoyed ourselves at the villa. There were 5 of us and you can easily lose each other in the vastness of the property. The pool is the crowning jewel, it is the perfect size and temperature. The additional activities of boules, tables tennis and table football meant you don't need to travel to have an amazing time. We made some wonderful memories here and would be more than happy to return. Thanks Jean-Daniel for being the perfect host.

Great house with a lot of space and nice pool and verranda.

The house is well provided for with lots of equipment and facilities. The view across the valley towards Avignon is incomparable and it is always fun to spot the TGVs speeding past. Air conditioning to the main living areas works well particularly when it is humid. This year has seen more rain across France and we noticed more humidity than previous years as well as hot temperatures. There is plenty to do in the area with Orange and the Amphitheatre, Avignon and the Palace des Papes, and Pont du Gard where you can kayak under the bridge. Jean-Daniel is very helpful and responsive to any queries.

The Villa Alba is a beautiful ultra-modern property in Rochefort-du-Gard which looks east over the Provence countryside. Perfectly suited our friends and family reunion week with a mixture of local visits and lazy days by the stunning infinity pool. Don't miss the local Sunday morning market to stock the kitchen with fresh produce.

The house was amazing, there were 10 beds and 3 bathrooms, so that's all very nice. Also, the outside area was lovely. However, we've had some complaints from the neighbors about noise, even though we weren't being very loud, this put a bit of a damper on how much we could enjoy the pool area.
