Family apartment by the beach

The property is a wonderful old French seaside impact property great for family and friends. Unfortunately the builders were there during our stay. We didn`t mind this but we did mind the excessive amount of dust entering the living space. We were only told about this a few weeks before the arrival date and we could not change the dates. There was disappointment but it was lucky we were out all day everyday. I am sure this was a one off and we would be happy to return.

What a lovely experience staying in this magnificent property. We could not have had a better time or had better attention paid to us by the host. We hope to return.

We had a fantastic stay in this fabulous property. The location is incredible, walk out the door and down to the beach! We loved walking along the beach to town, just 10 minutes or less. There was so much space and wonderful light in every room. We all really enjoyed it, ages 6 to 80! The beach view from the kitchen and lounge made me smile everyday. We found every dish, pan, glass, and utensil that we needed to cook in the great kitchen. Toke is very nice and responsive. I highly recommend!

Everything was easy from the start. Beautiful apartment. Very close to town and so close to the beach. The property is with what was a hotel many moons ago and has a lovely feel about it. Easy parking outside the apartment. Toke was very helpful and friendly and a pleasure to deal with. Hope to return next year

We enjoyed our two night stay at this lovely istorical location with modern conveniences located right on the beach. It is close to town and surrounded by beautiful homes. The sunsets were amazing. Toke, the owner, is very friendly and easy to work with. Thank you for sharing your home with us!.

We had a great time (July 24 -Aug 3, 2019) despite mediocre weather. The apartment is fantastic, only minor issues if somebody wants to be picky, high quality appliances, lots of space, there were six of us (4 adults), two more kids would have been no problem. The apartment is inside a major historical building right at the beach, my wife could not get enough of googling the history of it. Google Les Roches Noires and check it out. Claude Monet made a painting of it which you find in Musée Gare d’Orsay in Paris. The whole little town has incredible architecture. And I mean incredible. We came by train, did all our shopping by walking a few minutes to the local (fantastic) bakery and grocery store. Very pleasant and enjoyable stroll despite rather narrow sidewalks). A car is pretty useless in Trouville since you will hardly find parking and streets are very narrow. Parking at the apartment is very easy though, a nice large gated parking lot right in front of the building. The only time we wished to have had a car was to visit the historical site of Omaha Beach where the allied troops went ashore in Normandy because you cannot get there by public transport. There are many bars and restaurants around, food was good with price level okay (to a little bit on the high side but there were some Pizza restaurants to average out our budget). The owner I believe lives in the UK but was highly responsive at any time when we had some questions. 5 stars to the apartment and owner!

Our family of 7 thought this home was so beautiful! The building had a grand old hotel type feel but the apartment seemed newly renovated and slept us all perfectly! The area was beautiful and easy to get around in. We would definitely return! Toku was very attentive and easy to contact! Thank you Toku!
