Family Farmhouse near Bergerac, Bordeaux & St Emilion with private heated pool.

A very fully equipped country house with surrounding terraces and seating areas that can comfortably accommodate 10 people. The owner lives nearby and is not only very friendly but also very helpful when asked. In the bedrooms, with the number of 3 sockets per bedroom is a bit limited and three double beds are only 140 cm wide, where nowadays 160 cm is more or less the standard. As 5 couples, we really enjoyed our week and used more or less all the amenities such as the heated pool during the day and the wood-burning stove in the evening, and say a big thank you to the owner Tracey for all of that !!!

Wonderful place to stay with family.The pool and huge garden were great for the kids (well, for everyone really!).Lovely outdoor spaces and a great barbecue.Kitchen and dining area are large and very well equipped.Bedrooms and bathrooms are clean and comfortable with nice towels and linens provided.Lounge area was large and comfortable - but all of the outdoor space is so lovely we hardly spent any time inside.Tracy is a great host - very helpful and easy to communicate with.Recommend Le Peyrat very very highly!

We had a fabulous week at Le Peyrat. It was a perfect place for a family reunion. Tracy, our host gave us a wonderful greeting and was always available to make sure everything was just right for us. She worked extremely hard to keep the pool clean and topped up in the hot weather and the grounds looking tidy and well kept. She was very polite, friendly and very respectful without being intrusive. The house was very comfortable, clean and well equipped. There were plenty of toys and games for the children to play with inside and out, including a wonderful treehouse and of course, the swimming pool which was essential given the extremely hot weather.There were several different seating areas outside all of which were beautifully furnished. Marc a local chef , cooked us a delicious meal one night which was a real treat. We would definitely recommend Le Peyrat as the perfect place for a large family get together.

Great property and great owner. Can't say enough good things about this house although to call it a farmhouse doesn't give the right impression about how modern and up-to-date the house is. All the "mod cons", and the plumbing and wifi worked. (seriously, that has not been our experience in other places in France). Modern kitchen. Pool was super and well maintained. The youngsters loved the playhouse. And the owner was terrific. Couldn't be more helpful and pleasant. We enjoyed the rural setting but McDonalds, supermarkets, and pizza were only 10 minutes away. Best of both worlds. Would definitely stay there again.

We had a super stay. This is the second time we’ve stayed at the farmhouse. It has everything we need and more. Was wanting to book the really big pluses with a heated swimming pool and the new . All the family enjoyed it. Tracy was an excellent host very helpful and available whenever needed.

A great property,very comfortable,needs a little TLC. Very well equiped kitchen,a great fridge,we had lovely evenings in front of the fire with our after dinner aperitif. A very relaxing oasis ,we all had great sleeps. Convienient location for exploring the Bordeau area. Easy train connection to Bordeau city,and very close to a great supermarket in Montpon. We had a great time.
