Family friendly villa 10 minutes walk to beach. Pool in residence

A well-equipped small villa. Best suited for a couple, but four people could manage at a squash. The advice and instructions were all in French, with some in English. It would be good to have all in English. The directions on arrival were not as clear as they could be.

A decent little villa with a private courtyard style garden of decent size and built in BBQ. All as described and in a convenient location. Steve, Hornchurch

We found this property to be very tired and dated. We had to keep the window and door open as there was a strange odour. The furniture was old, the sofa bed was covered with a worn out throw. Fortunately this was not required as there was only two of us, however I would not have slept on it anyway. Although the work surfaces were clean under the sink sofa, behind the TV, under the bed appeared to have not been cleaned for quite some time. The TV is very small, the cooker needs fixing or replacing as it takes multiple attempts before it ignites. Upstairs the dated decor continues, the wardrobes are old, in one of the bedrooms the door does not close. Because the bedrooms are small the beds are pushed up against the wall with no room at the side or bottom, which means you have to disturb or crawl over your partner to get out of bed. I have also never stayed in a property where you have to make your own bed on arrival or wash the sheets before you leave. Whilst the outside space is private the view you have is of a wall which is not clear on the listing. I expressed my disappointment and concern to the owner who offered to visit. I declined as there was nothing that could be done to make this right. Overall, I feel the above points should be mentioned in the listing.
