Ferienhaus

We booked this vacation home this summer. The pictures of the house, on several well-known vacation rental websites, looked very inviting from a distance and prompted us to book it. Unfortunately, the reality on site was shockingly different. It's an old, run-down, and stale house, damp and musty due to its location directly on the river. Airing it out was completely ineffective. The smell was so bad that my whole family had to wear FFP2 masks for respiratory protection. The surrounding area is disappointing, utterly desolate, and uninviting. There are railway tracks and a large agricultural factory nearby. The constant, loud barking of dogs at night makes it impossible to get any rest, and the adjacent main road is also very noisy around the clock. Even the river "flowing" past the house looks beautiful in the pictures—in reality, it's a stagnant, sometimes foul-smelling body of water that makes spending time on the terrace a nightmare. My children promptly renamed the house "Stink House." Aucune description plus appropriée n'a pu être trouvée. Nous sommes donc partis immédiatement et avons trouvé une autre maison de vacances – digne de ce nom – via Airbnb. Nous ne pouvons absolument pas recommander cette maison à Coëx !
