Ferienhaus Moulin De Mois

We spent a week here, four adults and two children. The house is secluded, at the end of a small, steep drive, and sits on the river Clain. The house was immaculate, the kitchen had everything we needed, and more, and the pool and gardens were beautiful. M., our host, was lovely and if we had any questions, she answered them quickly and when the pool pump and cover stopped working, she came down straight away and had it sorted within an hour. We'd all definitely return.

Geweldige vakantiewoning om heerlijk tot rust te komen en te genieten van de natuur en de omgeving. In de technische ruimte hing een reservoir (gewoon een plastic watervat van ongeveer 500 liter) gevuld met stookolie en daardoor hing er een penetrante stookolie lucht. Ons nog afgevraagd of dit gevaarlijk kon zijn maar de beheerster zei van niet. Wij hadden onze twijfels.

Wij waren hier met ons gezin in juli 2024. Het huis ligt in een rustige omgeving en we hebben volop genoten van die rust. En het zwembad. Kleine dorpjes liggen op korte rijafstand. Grotere dorpen en bezienswaardigheden zijn wat langer rijden. Het huis zelf is rustiek, precies zoals weergegeven op de foto’s.

Great authentic French stone built house with fantastic features and a pool. Everything is there and on hand, supermarket just 20kms away in Civray and if you are on motorbikes like we were, it's a great ride. In the river that runs alongside the gite we seen crayfish, trout and even seen an Otter one evening. Great base to explore the the surrounding towns like Cognac and Confolens.

La maison comme ses extérieurs sont magnifiques et très bien équipés, de la cuisine au mobilier extérieur en passant par le salon. L'accueil chaleureux ne dénote pas, à bientôt j'espère !

Een heel bijzonder en mooi huis! Alles is aanwezig. Huis is prachtig gelegen, heerlijk verwarmd zwembad. Voor complete rust een aanrader. Schitterende, volledig uitgeruste keuken. Enige nadeel was dat het moeilijk te vinden was. Internet was er wel maar niet makkelijk te installeren. Een beschrijving zou wel helpen. Het matras was een beetje hard maar het is maar net wat je prettig vindt. .

pour notre réunion de famille, nous avons adoré la moulin de moix : calme, confort, et charme. Tout équipement est haut de gamme et nous avons particulièrement apprécié le hammam!

Beautful place, very peaceful, quiet and sapcious. The photos on the website need updated and there is Internet at the moulin. Lots of birds, butterflies, coypu. The kitchen is very well equiped. There are restaurants around but you have to drive. Incorrect coordinates, it is East not West.
