If anything, we would say this holiday home was even better than it looks online and in all the pictures! You definitely won't be disappoiinted and really can't recommend it enough. From the tiny details (the very well equipped kitchen with lots of really helpful 'extras' provided as standard) to the warmest of welcomes from the lovely hosts Dawn and Andrew. Even the animals are pleased to see you! We had two toddlers with us and it was the perfect place for them - everywhere is super child-friendly and lots to keep them occupied including the perfect loft playroom which is a really lovely touch. An amazing setting with some beautiful villages and towns closeby and we drove from the UK and it wasn't a hardship at all. We like to try new places rather than going back to the same one each year but we wouldn't hesitate to make a return trip here. Perfect in every way!

We have a wonderful stay at the house from Dawn and her partner. Beautiful house, clean and nicely furnished. A lot of things to play with for the kids , 3 and 6 years old, inside as also outside. A lot of animals , the kids liked it very much. Beautiful pool with everything you will need there. So we have enjoyed our stay and we will for sure choose this house again in the future. Our stay was wonderful. It was even better than expected. The location and property were amazing and ideal for those wanting to get away from it all. The place was very clean, with lovely bedding and towels, and had everything we needed to feel at home (from a large selection of games and DVDs to enough kitchen utensils to serve an army!). The garden features a nice pool, table tennis table, swing and even a tree house for young kids to live out their fantasy! Our children loved all the animals and going for walks around the fields. Communication was great too, super easy and efficient. We would highly recommend this wonderful property and would definitely stay there again.

Wir haben die 14 Tage in diesem wundervollen , so liebevoll eingerichtetem Haus sehr genossen . Zwischen Ponies , Hühnern , Hunden und Katzen haben wir - wie sagt man - uns pudelwohl gefühlt . Zur Ankunft gab es seitens des Vermieters einen wahrhaft großzügigen Lebensmittelkorb , der keine Wünsche übrig gelassen hat . Die Ausstattung des Hauses kann nur als komplett beschrieben werden . Uns hat es an nichts gefehlt . Der Pool ist ein Traum . Unsere Tochter haben wir nur unter Versprechungen aus dem beheiztem Wasser bekommen . Und dann diese unglaubliche Ruhe ........... We will return !!

We booked with Dawn Andrew to stay in their beautiful farm house 2 years ago. Communication from the first enquiry and throughout was quick and very helpful. What can I say - myself and my husband work for the NHS Police, this was our first week off together as a family since before covid, so we had really mentally built up high expectations, and this didn't disappoint. Our kids are 18, 15 7, but there was something for everyone here. My youngest loved all the farm animals who all enjoyed being petted, the pool was great for all, and kept very lovely and clean. My eldest assured me that the wi-fi reached the pool side so she was happy. The beds were all very comfortable, with really lovely sheets. Towels, and all kitchen 'bits' were supplied making travelling alot lighter that we really appreciated. The pool was a nice depth to be alot of fun yet very safe for all. Dawn and Andrew welcomed us into the farm and were always at hand if needed, but equally it was very private. We left feeling very welcomed, and feeling like we had made some lovely friends during our stay. We drove from the UK in a fully electric car. The area and route is all well equipped with rapid chargers, so this was never an issue. We visited some nearby caves, a Chateau, and a local market. Lastly but definitely not least, Poppy Tash, the two farm dogs were an absolute high point for all the kids. They even got our grumpy teens to smile and play. We had an energizing experience in this quiet country setting. It was fun to interact with the animals and to be a part of the whole scene. Dawn and Andrew were readily available for all our requests yet unobtrusive unless called upon. Barry and Brenda

We have just returned from a week staying at the wonderful Haut Combiers, and what can I say, it was perfection! Dawn and Andrew have created something so unique, we could have stayed for a lot lot longer! The house is beautifully presented, all of the comforts you need while still staying true to its origins as an authentic french farmhouse. The house and grounds are much larger than we expected from the photos, the living and kitchen/dining space would easily accommodate a large group and the bedrooms give 2 separate spaces which would be great for 2 families. The beds were comfy, sheets very soft and towels (including pool towels which was great!) were fluffy. The pool was always warm and kept clean. We travelled with our two children aged 3 5 and they adored everything about it! Dawn very kindly let them help feed the animals and we were allowed to groom the horses whenever they were in the stables which our daughter just loved. The 2 dogs are very friendly and kept the kids entertained all week! If you are thinking of booking, don't hesitate... or maybe do because we want to make sure it's not always booked so we can come back!
