We went here as a group of 3 people and had a wonderful stay! Francoise and Jean are wonderful people, very open and welcoming. The farm is located in the middle of beautiful, spacious fields and is just brimming with life. So many birds, Igor the (very sweet) horse, deer, foxes, small lizards, a farm cat paying a visit from time to time.. definitely recommend this for anyone who is looking to get away from busy city life for a while; you'll feel like a new person after spending a week here. Francoise and Jean, thank you again and see you next year!

Located in the beautiful French countryside, this 3 bedroom (all with en-suite facilities) detached house is ideal for exploring the Loire valley. Francoise and Jean are excellent hosts, even bringing us tomatoes and plums from their garden. Whilst the house is finished to a very high standard, the open plan kitchen dining area is the only seating available and the property would be improved with a separate lounge area.

An lovely week of peace in a beautiful home. If you want to get away from if all this is perfect. The kids were able to forget their phones and get back to enjoying the outdoors. Bbqs every night looking out over the farmland and gentle jogs, walks and cycle rides made for a relaxing time. Our hosts were simply superb and even went way beyond in arranging bike hire for us in a local village. Would recommend whole heartedly, a real find!

We spent a very enjoyable and relaxing 2 nights at this beautifully renovated property in Villedieu-le-Chateau. Surrounded by fields, the house was wonderfully quiet, with no traffic noise and fantastically dark night skies. The children loved the freedom and space, especially stroking and feeding ends of baguette to the donkey and horse in the field opposite the house, (visible from their bedroom window). Wished we could have stayed longer to enjoy more walks, cycles and blackberry picking, (cueillette de mûre)! Jean and Francoise were very welcoming hosts, thank you very much for the delicious confiture de prunes! Hope to return some time.
