😊: Warm and cosy with the heating one and the bed was comfortable.. 😢: There was a problem receiving the code for the key box. Apparently the owner had a problem sending it on Booking so sent me a text, but my phone didn't have any phone reception on the Chemin, only Whatsapp or data. The code wasn't sent through the Booking message system which would have been much better. I walked 22km to get to the apartment and had to sit outside and message the host repeatedly to send me the code. She got back to me about an hour later so it was a bad start. Then I couldn't unlock the door because I was flustered from trying to get in contact with the host and the handle is stiff and you have to push it really hard to unlock. To mitigate this, the host should send a set of instructions for access at least 24 hours before the reservation, as I have had before. The fact I had to sit and wait while messaging her was poor. I paid for international roaming to try call her but I couldn't get any reception nearby to get in contact. The write up said fully equipped kitchen but there was no kettle or toaster. However, there's an electric slicer, fondue maker and 2x waffle iron. It feels like a space for unwanted Christmas presents - please add a kettle and toaster. Lighting in the kitchen was insufficient The stools in the kitchen are too high for the bench and the bench is around the wrong way. Meaning that where there is space to tuck your legs underneath isn't where the stools are placed, and one side is against the wall. The child lock was on on the stove with no manual about how to turn it off, only discovered by pressing all buttons repeatedly. No bin bags in the bins. No space for storing luggage or putting clothes. Poorly designed small area, it could have been so much better.

😊: Excellent location in a lively town. 😢: Very difficult to climb the steep stairs. Not suitable for people without full mobility / flexibility. Small apartment but very clean.
