Françoise F5 avec petit parking

😊: There was nothing about this property that we liked.. 😢: This is undoubtedly the worst accommodation we have ever booked and stayed at via Booking.com. The lady at arrival was polite yet hurried when she let us in and gave the keys. The corridors and stairs are dark, gloomy, and have a strange smell. There were brown stains on the pillows & bedding. The blinds were broken and hanging off - we felt like we were in a hostel, not an apartment that we'd paid over £900 to stay in. 2 of the lamps had exposed wires, and several light bulbs were missing. There was scaffolding outside the windows with a walking platform directly outside the livingroom - had we known of this alone we wouldn't have booked yet it wasn't mentioned on the listing and the owner failed to inform us. The plants in the apartment were dead and had been for some time. There were food remnants in the dishwasher. 90% of all the cups, glasses, & crockery were dirty. The fridge was unclean inside, as was the freezer seal. There was dirt & grease on the cooker door & handle. The kitchen window was crudely screwed closed with a wooden baton. There was a dirty area outside the dining room window with weeds, dirt, and cigarette ends, and the windows were so dirty that the word 'sale' had been written in the dirt. I raised these issues whilst at the apartment with Booking.com, who attempted to make contact with the owners, yet received no response. We cut our stay short on the basis of the condition & uncleanliness & changed our flight to go home 2 days early. I notified the owner of our early departure & requested a response and refund due to the very poor dirty condition, however whilst they replied to say they were investigating, they have never replied even after 2 chase-up messages. They have obviously used old and enhanced photos to advertise this property & have also not honestly described the current condition. I have delayed my review in order to allow the owner to respond, however I've been ignored..

😊: Spacious rooms and very good communal areas. Excellent for a large group. Hair dryer in bathroom.👍 and iron and ironing board Fans. Excellent situation to explore Rouen.. 😢: No hand towels in bathrooms.. Remind client to bring or needs to buy toilet paper. Road and club across street very noisy during the night...

😊: The apartment is stunning. It's spacious and clean and easy to walk to all the main areas of interest. Beds were very comfortable, we were very happy with the apartment.. 😢: The parking. Unfortunately this caused us significant problems. The apartment is advertised as with parking but there should be a disclaimer that the space is tiny and very difficult to get into. We had a roof box and scraped it trying to get in. Our car was scraped trying to get round the posts in the tiny garage area. We are Blue Badge holders and there simply wasn't space to get people out the car. It's such a shame as the apartment really was lovely..

Great value apartment close to all amenities and transport

Our stay was, overall, excellent. The place was clean, spacious, and looked just like the photos. The kitchen was incredibly well-equipped with a wide variety of dishes and utensils, which made cooking very convenient. The only minor challenge was the narrow entrance to the parking garage, making the initial parking a bit tricky. However, having a dedicated parking spot on the first floor was a huge advantage compared to other accommodations in Rouen. Plus, the location was fantastic – it was just a short walk to the city center. For international guests like us, the trash disposal system was a bit complex. Despite this, we always had great communication with the host, so any questions or issues were quickly resolved. We would definitely stay here again if we visit Rouen in the future.

Excellent flat - in an ideal spot on 4th floor above noise level. 300 M from Old Market Square. (not in the Square so online photo a bit misleading) Garage roomy and a t street level, directly beneath the building. Worth learning how keys and everything works when you arrive and are welcomed. I'd be happy to stay there again in this lovely city.
