Fully equipped holiday home with garden | Pet-friendly

😊: This newly renovated fisherman's cottage set on the cobblestoned quai with the water view was compact but with everything needed for our stay. The property was very clean, charming and cozy. The upper floor with its skylights was delightful. Beatrice who handed us the keys was a lovely hostess, very helpful punctual and patient. We were pleased to be able to check in early and check out later, that was very well appreciated. The proximity to Vannes, a beautiful town was very convenient. Auray itself is such a charming village. Lots of restaurants and conveniences in walking distance.. 😢: As the property is on a pedestrian zone, it is closed off to parking. It was quite difficult to find parking nearby and we had to move alot of luggage so just pack light and it shouldn't be a huge issue. I do not recommend the narrow stairs and flights for people with arthritis or mobility issues. The property was decorated but style over function. The seating was rather uncomfortable for our big Canadian bodies I suppose! There was no dining space and we could not eat together as a family of four on the fragile and hard stools. Perhaps cushions could be placed to soften the furnishings. Also very narrow chairs...again not suited for gigantic north americans :)- Although I appreciated their great effort for cleanliness, I did not enjoy putting my bed together, it felt like alot of work setting it up after such a long journey and being exhausted. The garbage bins were not convenient, quite far from the property to walk and throw trash. Despite these minor points, it was a lovely stay and we enjoyed it very much. Thank you to our hosts!.
