Gambetta 4 Comfortable apartment Bordeaux Center

😊: The room was nice and clean and the location was great. 😢: Unbearable temperatures in the apartment. Should not be rented out in summer if no AC. It is a top floor unit with no cross breeze. Temp reached 35 degrees. It was unbearable. Thankfully we only stayed one night. One of the rooms has no windows at all. Also was too bad they would make no accommodation for earlier check in (which was 5pm) and check out was at 10am. I’ve never had the experience with Airbnb where they don’t let you at least drop your bags off. The host was unwilling to help. I don’t think I’ll use booking.com again. Will stick to Airbnb. They seem to vet their properties better..

😊: Just the location.. 😢: 1.We attempted several times to contact the owner by phone and WhatsApp and didn't have the decency to respond, not even once. 2.Air conditioner power switch is hidden away not to be used, whilst temperatures rose to over 35 degrees 3.Lift not working and had to carry luggage 4 floors 4.No window in 2nd bedroom for ventilation 5.Soiled mattress 6.Dirty floors and toilet 7.Hazardous exposed electrical power point in bathroom 8.Common entrance under construction.

😊: Great location and comfortable, spacious accommodation. Relieved that the accommodation included fans. Good instructions.. 😢: It was unfortunate that the lift didn't work. Carrying two big suitcases to the 4th floor is hard work.😰.

😊: Great location comfortable and spacious . Responsive when we hit a minor issue easily resolved.
