Gite 2 à 4 pers, Centre historique de Montignac

😊: Staff answered any questions quickly and were helpful. Located centrally in Montignac so easy to get to wherever you needed to go. River, cafes, and bars located 20 metres down the street. Everything needed for convenience was in the apartment already, fridge, oven, washing machine etc.. 😢: Not the easiest to find with the instructions but could have just been a translation problem on my part..

😊: We enjoyed the town and it was a terrific base to visit the Lascaux caves. Tourist office was a great help with directions and translating numerous messages from the host. Location was in a quiet non trafficable laneway. Newly renovated and washing machine was good.. 😢: The host could not communicate in English and as aussie travellers our french was not strong. We received too many messages from the host. On the day of arrival, past the date we could cancel, we were told we had to provide our own sheets towels, toilet paper, soap and plastic bags! Fortunately we were travelling with sleeping sheets! The key lock didn't work easily and even with assistance from the neighbours it was a challenge. There was a connecting door between the neighbours and the unit. It was locked but a concern. We suspect the hosts are new to booking.com and are not properly prepared. Hard to recommend..
