😊: Wowww, this property is absolutely beautiful, you don't get a feel for the size of this gite until you arrive, it's huge, with so much care and attention to detail and spotless clean! The owner Christelle and her family were really accommodating, nothing was too much trouble. Meursac is a sleepy little village, with very few amenities. The property is located 15/20 minutes walk (5 min by car) from the centre. It is a rural property, so I would say a car is essential for you stay here. It is an ideal location to visit many of the main towns and villages in Charente Maritime. There are a couple of nice beaches just 20 minutes by car. The open place kitchen/dining area and living space downstairs is more than enough space. The bedroom (double bed) is on a mezzanine level with an en-suite. The property is clean and well equipped. There is a down stairs bathroom/utility room with a very good sauna, which was great in the evenings to unwind from a busy day exploring South West France. The property has an outdoor pool, which we were unfortunately unable to use due to the poor weather during our stay. We had a great stay and would highly recommend this property.. 😢: Just be mindful that the stairs from the ground floor to the mezzanine were very steep and open plan. May be difficult for young children / people unsteady on their legs or dogs..
