Gîte 6 personnes avec piscine intérieure ,étang de pêche,plages du débarquement

An amazingly tranquil place to stay in the Normandy countryside. Beaches and Memorials are just a short drive away. We cannot say enough about the host Virginie. She is a very warm and inviting person who we enjoyed conversing with despite our extremely limited french language skills. The grounds of this property are spacious, well maintained and beautiful! We highly recommend a stay here.

We stayed for three nights and it was a welcome change of pace from our busy sight-seeing. My kids especially loved the ducks. :-) Some things to know - plan on being offline, there is no wifi. And I wish that all the possible extra costs (sheets, bedding, maid service, additional deposit) were already included in the VRBO pricing as it was a little stressful to try and understand and a bit of a cost surprise.

It was everything and more. The hosts (Stephane & Virginie) were amazing, so very helpful - nothing was too much trouble. The gite was clean and spacious a real home from home. Plenty of parking inside a locked & gated area. Looking forward to seeing them again next year.

Gîte très bien équipé. L'accès à la piscine chauffée est un vrai plaisir pour les grands et les petits. Les plages se situent à environ 20 minutes en voiture. Des jeux sont mis a disposition, mention spéciale au trampoline, balançoires et tour en barque sur l'étang.

Une très belle semaine passée dans un cadre reposant au plus près de la nature. Le gîte est agréable, propre et bien équipé. La piscine est très agréable. Virginie est une hôte très accueillante qui a des petites attentions très appréciables (jeux dans le gîte adaptés à l'âge des enfants, jouets gonflables dans la piscine différents chaque jours...). Un très bon séjour.

Outstanding gite, with excellent hosts. Great location for quiet and peaceful. Lovely fishing lake, roach and carp. Indoor pool really good. Left alone all week, which was great. Good place to visit ww2 beaches and museums. Bayeux is excellent and the market on Saturday should not be missed. The host are superb and very helpful. Would certainly recommend this place.

Charming French country exterior complete with chickens and ducks that our young boys adored. The pond and row boat were a fun little afternoon activity. The interior is nicely updated with modern beach decor and all the amenities we needed. This cottage is very clean and well maintained. Virginie and Stefane were welcoming and we enjoyed the complimentary cider and candies. The only challenge we found was connecting to the WiFi (otherwise 5 stars!). Plan to unplug if you stay here...it was a nice break. The pool was fantastic! It was clean and there were lots of pool activities. We were surprised that we needed to settle the final expenses with cash rather than the credit card we used when we booked through VRBO and were a bit unprepared. Again, Virginie was very gracious when we were a few Euro short. Highly recommend this place!
