Gîte AnjouLoire

Très beau gîte, fonctionnel, propre et lumineux, proche de la Loire et des commerces. Guillaume est au petit soin pour ses hôtes, disponible, arrangeant et très sympathique. Par ailleurs, le petit déjeuner mérite qu'on s'y attarde. Les confitures, pour certaines avec des saveurs très originales, sont faîtes maison. Un régal! Je recommande et reviendrai avec plaisir!

😊: The host was so helpful, informative and very welcoming. The location of the gîte is perfect, you can walk along the river, over the bridge for walks and cycling. The shops are less than a 5 minute walk. Would recommend if you want to cycle or walk in the Loire area..

😊: Very nice and helpful host, very spacious and clean appartment. We arrived by bikes and it took us longer than expected, we changed our arrival time twice which was no problem 👍 We could use the washing machine and booked breakfast, which was ok (croissants, baguette, home made marmelade, juice, coffee). 😢: Could do with yoghurt, cheese and/or eggs for breakfast.

😊: clean and comfortable accommodation in a peaceful location, on the banks of the Loire river, with very nice owners that speak perfect English, spacious free parking directly in front of the property, it instantly felt like home, the village is generally a courteous welcoming community... a gem of a find. 😢: the weather wasn't great and it was Easter Bank Holiday so some of the shops and restaurants were closed but the local supermarket (carrefour express) was open so we could buy essentials.

😊: The gite is set off the main road and as such provides a very quiet location. The property is in a lovely village which has all the amenities eg mini supermarket, butchers bakers a number of restaurants with a very nice modern tabac where you can sit next to the river and watch the world go by .It also has a train station with opportunities to travel at reasonable costs to various locations near and far( without the car ). The French owners have invested a lot of time money and energy into ensuring guests have a very relaxed stay . The facilities at the gite include two large bedrooms a very modern walk-in shower with plenty of hot water ! and heating in all rooms .Downstairs is open plan and is well equipped ie washer drier , dishwasher combi oven / microwave , hair dryer and all necessary cutlery and crockery . The garden is large and has a lovely decking area with table chairs and large parasol . Unlike a lot of gites it is literally 5 minutes into the centre of the village . There are also opportunities for cycling with lots of various routes along and beyond the river . The Family owners were very nice and hospitable and we both wish them future success .PS .. thanks Soline for the tomatoes !!!!!. 😢: We have no negative comments about the property.
