gîte Armandine - séjour paisible au coeur du Tarn proche de Cordes-sur-Ciel

😊: This gite was exceptional. Spacious, comfortable with everything you need for a great stay. It is also quiet as it's in the countryside but only a short drive to Albi, Cords and Gaillac. If you're into wine there are a lot of wineries in the near vicinity The bed was a queen for a change and the shower was spacious unlike a lot of showers in France accommodation. I can't recommend this gite enough. The owners don't speak a lot of english but with the translator we were able easily communicate.. 😢: Nothing.

😊: It was perfect in every way. The gite is beautifully situated in quiet rural location but has easy access to tourist spots like Cordes, Puycelsi, Albi etc and two beautiful Chateau just around the corner. Cahuzac sur vere has a fine shop/delicatessen/boulangerie called Cote a Cote where we bought bread, cheese pate etc. But of course there is a supermarket in the town too. The Gite has a very well equipped kitchen, absolutely clean throughout, comfy bed, super shower, separate w.c., relaxing sitting area with flat screen t.v, lovely sunny terrace and lovely views. Very easy to stay there. It appears it had only this year been renovated so everything was new and beautiful. Our hosts were very welcoming and helpful, warm, kind and respectful. They had lived on the farm all their lives and they lived locally. Truly wonderful people. They generously gave us some freshly made quince jam, a bottle of local white wine, flowers from the garden and took us out to show us one or two spots which were worth a visit. A magical moment was when we went out withJacques that evening, we stopped along the road to see the grapes on his neighbours vines just as the neighbour drove by. The neighbour stopped and had a friendly chat with Jacques and then cut fresh grapes (for the table)from the vine and gave them to us with a gorgeous smile! What's not to like!. 😢: Nothing..
