Gîte au calme, bord de Rance, SPA, Proche Dinan St Malo Mont Saint Michel

A very nice house in a very nice and quiet hammock, close to major places to visit and a nice little village at walking distance with good restaurant. The house is very well equipped, the gardens nice and quiet and the jacuzzi also.

Our stay was wonderful! The hosts were friendly and the neighbourhoud quiet and calm. I definitly would recommend.

Maison pleine de charme très bien réhabilitée. Deux espaces extérieurs agréables un pour l'apéro l'autre pour dîner. Excellent accueil des propriétaires en toute discrétion.

The three of us (me, wife and Daisy the dog) stayed here for a week. The weather, which had been forecast to be mainly rain and cool, turned out to be wonderful, with warm sun practically every day except the first (we overnighted in Honfleur - the rain drove us away). The Gite is quirky, with a narrow spiral wooden staircase, which might cause problems with anyone with mobility problems, but otherwise very comfortable. The bed was fine, the sofa relaxing and everything was supplied in the kitchen. The internet speed was superb as well. There were excellent dog walks from the front door in this tiny hamlet, and Lyvet is about a 20 minute walk away with two restaurants and bars. We used the spa a couple of times while the owner was away (36 deg) and otherwise occupied ourselves with reading in the garden and visits to St Malo, Dinard and best of all, Dinan, which is walkable from the west bank of the Rance. The TV has only French channels, but if you need your fix of Gardener's World, subscribe to any of the UK sites offering free TV on your laptop. Altogether a lovely stay - many thanks to Pascal, Emmanuelle and, of course, Dominique!
