Gîte au coeur de Colmar

😊: The location only. 😢: Towels found in the washing machine. Very bad smell in the common area. The linen smelled very bad!! I had to sleep with my coat to cover. The pillows were filthy! And only 1 and 1/2 toilet paper for 2 nights for 5 persons. The host tried to make her best to help us for late check in also installed a key box for us as there was no access for the keys.

😊: The location was perfect!! Everything was near and the Christmas market just a few steps away. There is a supermarket near by but as we arrived on Christmas day, it was closed. We had hot water during the stay and it was excellent for 6 people. 😢: The toilet was dirty and we had to clean it, same with the kitchen utilities, glasses, knifes etc. The sofa was the worst!! We had to lay the mattress on the floor to sleep instead on the sofa. The whole place especially the staircase, smells like mold. We had 1 toilet paper for 2 days for 6 people and we had to call for more as everything was closed during Christmas holidays. The host cant speak in any other language but French and we couldn’t communicate correctly. Bed rest is worn out and the mattresses are too old..

😊: The property was clean, warm and a great location but definitely needs some TLC and simple improvements to make this a great place to stay. 😢: Kettle broken Entrance hall isn’t welcoming and is dirty Bath mat dirty.
