Gîte au cœur des Châteaux de la Loire

wonderful hostswho made us feel very welcome,from the start.Always extremeley helpful with suggestions to enhance the holiday.The property is ideally situated for exploring the Loire valley.

Just the right size and so convenient for visiting the area.Very useful to have an boulangerie within walking distance. Saturday market and small supermarket in the village, as well as one a few miles away. Our hosts were so friendly and exceptionally helpful. Thanks Valerie and Jean- Pierre.

Très agréable séjour chez Jean-Pierre et Valérie. Logement parfaitement adapté à un couple avec 2 enfants. Plein de charme ! Situation idéale pour la visite des châteaux de la Loire et une escapade au zoo de Beauval.

Très bon accueil, hébergement très bien équipé, très propre, très bien rénové. On s’y sent vite chez soi. L’entrée et le petit jardin indépendants sont très appréciables ! Le centre du village est tout proche pour y faire quelques courses. Nous y reviendrons sans hésiter! Merci!

Das schöne Haus ist liebevoll und sehr hochwertig saniert. Die Lage ist perfekt, um tagsüber die Schlösser der Loire zu besuchen und danach einen schönen Abend in traumhafter Umgebung zu verbringen. We are a family of four and have just returned from a wonderful week in Esvres. The hosts were extremely kind and generous, giving us very helpful tips and information on places to visit. They were always available if we needed anything but were also unobtrusive, giving us a sense of privacy. The property has been beautifully restored and is tastefully furnished. It is very well-equipped with everything you need. There is a small but lovely garden equipped with a bar-b-que and comfortable garden furniture. There is ample space for relaxing and, although situated within the owner's garden, it still feels very private. Opposite the house on the forecourt there is parking. There are local amenities close by in the pretty village including a very good bakery and pizzeria. There is also a local outdoor swimming pool. The property is in easy reach by road of all the sights that the Touraine has to offer, including the chateaux, the lakes and beautiful walks by the Loire and Indre - we found it very easy to explore the area.. We would highly recommend this property and we look forward to returning there.

This lovely cottage is situated within the grounds of the owner's property but provided enough privacy and space as to feel separate. It has recently been renovated and everything is to a high standard. Unfortunately we didn't get to utilise the outdoor space due to the weather but there is a BBQ and outdoor seating. Esvres is a small, quiet town but very pretty with a good market on Saturday. There is also a boulangerie, small bar and a couple restaurants. It is located on the Indre cycle route, part of which we did. There are bikes to hire from the owners. It's also within driving distance to lots of castles, we visit Chenonceau which was brilliant. The accommodation was very well equipped for everything we needed. Valerie and Jean Pierre were very hospitable and friendly, they wanted to ensure that we had a good stay and were more than happy to offer tips about the local area. We appreciated the bottle of cold Rosé, left for us in the fridge when we arrived at 11pm after a long drive! The beds were very comfortable and we slept very well. We enjoyed meeting Valerie, Jean Pierre, their children and buoyant dog and wouldn't hesitate to recommend this property. Merci!
