We had total silence, it was lovely a total escape from the hamster wheel of life. . Backed onto woods with a view for miles and small pool. (bring plenty of bug spray) 15 mins to belves along a winding country road. 15 mins to supermarket in scoriac and from there it's another 15 mins to all the lovely scenic villages.

Une location simple et propre. Piscine chauffée au top. Les enfants comme les adultes en ont bien profité. Maison un peu sombre mais très bien agencée et équipée (il y a tout ce dont on a besoin en Cusine et même qqs jeux pour enfants et adultes dans le coffre du salin!). Conforme au descriptif. Idéale pour famille 4 personnes. L’environnement et la piscine sont sécurisés et les maisons sont indépendantes les unes des autres (pas de visibilité) malgré la proximité. Très belle vue depuis la terrasse sur laquelle nous avons pu prendre tous les repas. Proche de nombreux sites à visiter (châteaux, villages médiévaux, grottes,Dordogne). Nous avons passé un très bon séjour! Nous recommandons.

Superbe endroit isolé mais quand-même connecté 😉, nature, forêt, ferme aux alentours . Bel agencement, avec le en plus comfort, piscine chauffée et très propre. Les villages voisins sont remarquables, nous avons découvert un bel endroit avec beaucoup de belles choses à voir

Gite très propre et parfaitement équipé, il permet de manger en terrasse abritée face à une superbe vue, et de profiter d'une piscine chauffée, à partager avec un autre gite. Bien situé au cœur du Périgord noir pour profiter de toutes les activités touristiques. Les propriétaires sont très accueillants, même si les contacts ont été limités à cause de la crise sanitaire

Séjour très agréable où nous avons apprécié : le calme, l’environnement, la piscine,la proximité des sites touristiques et gastronomiques. Le gite est bien agencé et très bien aménagé. Nous Avons également apprécié la délicatesse concernant le cadeau de bienvenue de nos hôtes. Une excellente adresse de séjour.

We loved our stay here. The local area has a great mix of things to do. Andrea could not be more helpful and the property was perfect for my wife and 20 month old son. The weather was very hot which was a bit difficult for him at night but Andrea provided a fan which allowed us to get a good nights sleep. This property would be an excellent choice for a couple of families who like to holiday together. We would definitely recommend this property and would love to come back again.

First, I must say that the photos advertising the property just cannot do it justice. It is way better in real life. We had an idyllic time in peace and tranquillity with the most spectacular views from the covered patio across the beautiful swimming pool to a typical Dordogne valley. We loved watching ‘Farm TV’ as cattle grazed and the Farmer harvested hay whilst local hawks wheeled above us. The Gite itself is fully fitted with all modern conveniences. WiFi is surprisingly quick for rural France, running at consistently around 7-8Mbps. The accommodation is very clean with plenty of space, a decent shower, great dishwasher and washing machine, along with virtually every kitchen appliance you could need. You can have dinner indoors at the 6 place dining table, but we spent nearly all our time outside on the terrace. We were fortunate to have beautiful weather for most of our stay, so gained excellent benefit from the outdoor areas. We didn’t use the barbecue, but it was very thoughtfully located, convenient for the terrace and kitchen. The location was very easy to find, with excellent signage to guide us in. Grocery shopping was also easy, with a Carrefour Market, petrol station, Boulanger and pharmacy in nearby Siorac-en-Perigord (about 10 mins drive). Lastly, the hosts Andrea and Francis were completely charming. We felt incredibly welcome and nothing was any bother. Thank you so much to the Ringenbachs.
